ChickenIsGood came out of the woodwork on 2006.04.16 - 12:23AM to say: Hmm... Agatha Christie, not in my usual choice of literature. I'm leaving now to find out who she is. ChickenIsGood came out of the woodwork on 2006.04.16 - 12:26AM to say: Ah... yes I do know who she is. Me thinks I'd rather just see the challenge than speculate. Professor Scroll came out of the woodwork on 2006.04.16 - 12:55AM to say: Is it that time already. Again, I have missed the cutoff to submit my challenge story. When will I learn to bury my head in the sand and just write. Good luck to everyone who submitted a story. As to Agatha Christie, she is one of my favorite authors. Can't wait to see what a talented author base can come up to for that. DQBunny came out of the woodwork on 2006.04.16 - 02:51AM to say: Heee!! Agatha Christie-style murder? This is great! It fits in perfectly with a series idea I've been kicking around thanks to reading "Justice" on this site and too many "In Death" books by J.D. Robb. I'll be settled in my new city by then as well, so it's a good time to work on a challenge. Professor Scroll, I still want to see your work! Are you still going to publish it as a non-challenge story? Ginebra Wood came out of the woodwork on 2006.04.16 - 08:12AM to say: Good luck to al the writers and now I´m a judge at work again! anf for the next challenge...I can´t wait! a Agatha Christie style challenge! Thanks Sir Ollivander! lucky_black_cat came out of the woodwork on 2006.04.16 - 08:17AM to say: Agatha Christie murder? I can't wait, she's my favourite author. And if next challenge is something similar to her "Murder on the Orient Express", I think I'll start counting the days left till 1st June. Thanks, Tom! *crowd goes wild* Spenser Hemmingway came out of the woodwork on 2006.04.16 - 09:06AM to say: This looks very interesting. I haven't read her books, but I have seen several of the movies. I guess that I'll have to promise not to try and kill off Spenser again. Although the Agatha Christie fans may when they see his version. Eric. Sir Ollivander came out of the woodwork on 2006.04.16 - 09:30AM to say: Murder - comes in many forms. *British accent* Everybody sees what they want to see. Or maybe, you weren’t looking in the right direction. knightwhosaysni came out of the woodwork on 2006.04.16 - 10:35PM to say: I LOVE POIROT! can't WAIT to see what this is all about and the entries. I love mysteries! Knightsaber came out of the woodwork on 2006.04.18 - 12:42AM to say: The MoM Challenge was difficult to judge. They were all good stories and I feel bad that I had to pick one over another in each category. I have an elaborate scorecard I use and there were ties in -everything-. I looked at grammar, spelling, humor, adventure, story flow, ingenuity, all that happiness. I literally had a tie in each one when I finished scoring them all. Sadly, I had to pick one. Now I feel bad for the ones that I had to bump down on my sheet. Good show to everyone that submitted. PhoenixAeternum came out of the woodwork on 2006.04.18 - 03:28PM to say: Murder most foul, methinks. amblewat came out of the woodwork on 2006.05.22 - 07:55PM to say: Alright I'm really slow on the uptake on this. But the June challenge sounds like it is going to be awesome! | |||||||||||
