An Open Invitation to Be a Challenge Judge |
| In the past, I have used numerous methods to invite authors to be judges for SIYE Challenges. The top 25 Hit Count authors. The top 25 rated story authors. Validated authors who have posted over five stories. Winners of past Challenges and Silver Trinket Awards. And the like… For the last Challenge of this year, 6-2006, I extent an open invitation to all SIYE registered members to be a Challenge Judge. If you been a judge before, you need to reply to this invitation (different e-mail address) if you want to judge this Challenge. All you have to do is meet one of two requirements: 1) You are a registered member of SIYE as of September 30, 2006 (3 months member as of Dec 31.) and have at least one story or chapter posted on SIYE. 2) You are a registered member of SIYE as of June 30, 2006 (6 months member as of Dec 31.) without having any story or chapter posted on SIYE. If you wish to be a judge, all you need to do is send me an e-mail with the following information: · E-mail me from your e-mail address as posted on SIYE · Make the SUBJECT of your e-mail, “Challenge Judge Invitation” · Your penname as used on SIYE · Tell me you want to be a Challenge Judge for the December Challenge. It’s already written. · Would you like me to call you by another name other than your penname? · And two pieces of volunteer information I would like: what is your age and where in the world are you? If in the USA, please tell me what state. · E-mail me at SIYEChallenge@aol.com By the way, the categories will be Best Overall, Most Touchingly Romantic (emotional, not necessaily physical), Humor, and Adventure. I’ll be waiting to hear from you. PS: We are off to a good start. I have 15 judges so far, ages between 13 and 34, from Spain(1), Canada(2), and USA(12). |

Uh...I've been a member since June 23, 2006, but the request says I have to have been a member since June 30, 2006-does my entry still count, because I REALLY want to be a judge!
