Eric, If we were to have a convention, would we have to wear some sort of tacky spandex outfit like they do for Star Trek? Oh and have a secret hand sign like "Live long and prosper?" I actually went to one of those. We would need some obscure actor to be there to sign autographs for his part in the film that no one remembers. :-)

Congratulations to SIYE for hitting the big 7 oh..oh..oh! How great to see the community growing. And Professor Scroll, you took the words right out of my mouth..err...keyboard? I would love to meet some of my favourites from the site. Getting together with your fannish family and friends is one of the chief joys of a con. I've been attending one every year for 27 years. It started out as a Star Trek con, but now it covers over 25 "fandoms" including HP. We have such fun panel discussions and parties., but no "Gilderoys" allowed LOL.
