I mean I know she is named Penny, but did you have to let the cat out of the bag? Sir Ollivander came out of the woodwork on 2008.07.20 - 03:00PM to say: Duelist - I hope the next Challenge is just as eventful. SilverPhoenix came out of the woodwork on 2008.07.20 - 05:32PM to say: Congrats to all the winners, and a big hand to Domino! Especially for bringing me back from the dead. It is no easy task, bringing me out from under an 8 month hiatus (which was supposed to be permanent....). Great job to everybody who entered and everyone who won! lilyevans_Jan30 came out of the woodwork on 2008.07.20 - 06:09PM to say: Kudos to Domino for such a great challenge and congrats to all the winners - this was really a fabulous challenge all around. Hmmm, financial affairs . . . I'm trying to figure out how the Statute of Secrecy is going to stay intact if Harry and Ginny get internships on Wall Street for extra credit. But hey, anything to bail out us American Muggles from the recession everyone swears is not coming. -Lilyevans_Jan30 Domino came out of the woodwork on 2008.07.21 - 02:38AM to say: Wow - Thanks! I have to say that reading all the stories was a pleasure. Can't believe how many different versions of an idea came through, and judging was a difficult process. Congratulations to the winners. gryff_princess came out of the woodwork on 2008.07.21 - 06:46AM to say: Congrats to all the winners, ur stories are ace! Spenser Hemmingway came out of the woodwork on 2008.07.21 - 09:41AM to say: All right! My hacker-elves have once again broken into the SIYE database and provided me with the next Challenge. I was beginning to worry about them. Let's see--after blowing their fortune on underwater real-estate, Harry is forced to take a side job as a Beta Reader, and the couple must take in Goblins as tenants. The up side is that they finally learn to balance a checkbook (something that is a complete mystery to me). That has to be it! The elves are never wrong! I am absolutely flabbergasted that I took a category. I was hoping at best for an honorable mention, although I am very proud of this last story. I'm amazed that no one I parodied has come after me with a stick. Another reason to have invented Spenser. They can track him down instead. Regardless--thank you very much. Eric B.
