| Hi folks! We're running into a slight problem with several stories that have involved us pulling one story from the site and talking with other authors about their stories. The first rule of submission for this site is the following: "Sink Into Your Eyes is a shipper archive for Harry Potter/Ginny Weasley fan fiction. Stories submitted for posting on SIYE must have Harry and Ginny as the primary couple. In very rare cases, with prior approval of the Head Administrator, SIYE may allow them to be a secondary couple along with other main characters and/or ships that align with H/G. H/G must ALWAYS be in the story - this is after all, an H/G archive." This does not matter if you've written 100 stories and 99 of them are H/G. If the one story you posted doesn't contain H/G, it gets pulled from the site. If your story doesn't appear to have Harry/Ginny in it at the start, or one or the other suddenly drops out in the middle of the story and doesn't seem to be making an appearance any time soon, we will be questioning you about this. I'm sure the readers of this site would be disappointed to have a story start out as Harry/Ginny, have Harry disappear for a few chapters then suddenly come back engaged to Hermione or Luna. That was not and has never been the purpose of this site. There are also some absolutely wonderful missing moments and general one-shots focusing on other characters. Again, it's not for this site unless the Harry/Ginny ship is a focus of it. If you are a validated author and have violated this rule, it is grounds for having that validation eventually being revoked if it continues. Validated authors are given this privilege because they have shown repeatedly that they write excellent stories that are relatively error-free and they follow site rules. If a story is turned down from this site because it doesn't focus on the Harry/Ginny ship, it doesn't mean that you're not a good author. This site fills a niche of the Harry Potter fandom and it's the focus on Harry/Ginny that makes SIYE stand out from other archives. We understand that at times a story needs to be told without Harry or Ginny in order to build it towards a Harry/Ginny outcome, and we will accommodate you. But if the end of your story you want to tell isn't Harry/Ginny, then there are archives out there that are better suited for it. Thanks, folks! DQBunny, Chief Archivist |

I just want to be clear, because when I first saw this it stuck out in my mind. The stories were posting should be, mainly, H/G, but other characters and romances are allowed to be developed as well, right? I think that's what you're saying, but I want to be clear.
