Author's Notes and Story Summaries |
| Hi folks! Just a quick reminder to let you know that your story summaries and author's notes are being held to the same standards as the main body of your work. If we see netspeak such as "ur," "chappie," and other forms of slang, the chapter/story will need to be resubmitted just as if we found these sorts of errors in your story itself. Also, please remember not to embed any links in your story, including author's notes! |

We might also point out that our archivists are not here to proofread your work. We're not here to save backups of your work. Our only job is to read through it and say yea or nay. We don't need to give you a full list of errors, and we certainly don't need to send you a copy of the rejected story.
We sometimes do help people out with their stories, but that's not something writers should expect. So please, please, stop sending us emails saying "My story was rejected, can you send it back to me with the errors marked?"
