And The Winners Are...

Our nine esteemed judges read through all seven Challenge stories and have submitted their nominations for tallying. Also, The People’s Choice Awards have been automatically tallied and added in.  And now the winners….

With over one third of the total votes in all categories, the award for Best Overall, Best Drama, and The People’s Choice Award goes to:

The Ghost of Christmas Past by Mutt N Feathers

The award for Use of  Skill goes to:

Check Mate by jeka1215

Honorable Mention goes to

Visions of a Promise by jennyelf

for having the next highest votes but not in any one category to win.

The winning stories are now prominently listed in our Featured Stories section. Those of you that have multiple chapters or need to do some editing may continue at this time.  The Challenge category is back open. If your story is completed, please ensure it is edited and YES, as completed.

The 2011-1 Challenge is just around the bend.  Do you have a sharp memory?

I would like to thank my many judges who worked hard for this Challenge: AM, BP, EB, GB, JML, K, MA, NS, & RS.  You know who you are. Thank you very much for all that reading and judging. Your time to help out is quite valuable. The Challenge would not exist if nobody judged them.  And GB picked all three first place category winners.  Good show!

Some authors have asked if I would tell them how well they did in the judging. If you wish, e-mail me and I will tell you your results.

PS:  See in dark and study your potions.

PPS:  Sorry for the delay in posting the winners.  I lost Internet/DSL capabilities when my phone company had some kind of failure over the weekend.
