And The Winners Are....

This Bond Challenge was a close race.  Some judges at the end sealed the fates.  The twelve judges had their work to do and many left comments as to how or why they judged the way they did.  So one could tell it wasn’t easy.  The People’s Choice had 47 votes.  But one shined above the others.  And now the winners….

The award for Best Overall, Bond Relationship, and The People’s Choice goes to:

Aphrodite's Destiny by Mistress_Lrigtar

The award for Gringotts Involvement goes to:

Ginevra the Girl of his Dreams by luukjn

The winning stories are now prominently listed in our Featured Stories section.  The Challenge category is back open.   Those of you that have multiple chapters or need to do some editing may continue at this time.  If your story is completed, please ensure it is edited and YES, as completed.

The 2013-1 Challenge will start January 1st.  It’ll bring out the true animal in you.

I would like to thank my many judges who worked hard for this Challenge. A few are new, I welcome you aboard.  To AM, BG, CM, EB, FF, GB, IC, JG, JM, LJ, MZ, NS, PS, & ZA.  You know who you are. Thank you very much for all that reading and judging. Your time to help out is quite valuable. The Challenge would not exist if nobody judged them.  FF, congrats, you picked all three first place winners.  One judge picked all winners with one story as a second choice.

Some authors have asked if I would tell them how well they did in the judging. If you wish, e-mail me and I will tell you your results.

Wow! I'm truly amazed and would like to thank all the judges and readers who voted for my story. Thank you so much! Congratulations to luukjn for winning as well and to all the writers who participated. I know it had to be a close and tough decision for the judges. Thanks again.

Hmm...no clues about the next Challenge?

"It'll bring out the true animal in you" sounds like animagi to me.
Thanks for those who judged my story as the best Gringotts Involvement. And congratulations to Mistress_Lrigtar for a well deserved win.

Lions, tigers & bears! Oh, my!

Spenser Hemmingway came out of the woodwork on 2012.12.02 - 12:28PM to say:

Let's see...the Detroit Lions are 4 and 7 and they're playing the 7 and 4 Indianapolis Colts today. The Detroit Tigers at least made it to the Series this past fall. The Chicago Bears are leading the NFC North at 8 and 3. The next Challenge is a sports story? That sounds interesting.

Spenser Hemmingway came out of the woodwork on 2012.12.03 - 09:49AM to say:

The Bears and the Lions both lost yesterday. However, the Cinncinnatti Bengals, which are a type of Tiger did win. I'm starting the outline for my next Challenge story.

Jewels came out of the woodwork on 2012.12.06 - 04:27AM to say:

Congrats to both winners! Your stories well done and the wins were well deserved. Looking forward to the next challenge :)

Lord Jawblinneron came out of the woodwork on 2012.12.19 - 09:06PM to say:

Congratulations to the winners of what has to be my favorite challenge yet, Can't wait to see the entries for the next challenge. LJ
