Ginny Weasley was going to die in seconds. The Hogsmeade weekend was great all the way until the last hour when Death Eaters apparated everywhere. Ginny turned to reenter the shop she just came out of when three DE’s appeared in front of her. One she recognized as Rabastan Lastrange. They all had their wands out while Ginny still had hers in her back pocket. As the three were shouting their curses, curses fired from inside the shop struck all three of them in the back, knocking them all out completely. “Get in here quickly before we’re seen.” The dark voice whispered loudly. Feeling alive and safer, she did as requested. Once inside she saw her rescuer and started pointing her wand. “Stop. I’m not here to harm you. I’ll even give you my wand if you feel you should hold on to it. I am not a Death Eater,” showing Ginny his/her arm. “But you know who I am and my family’s connection to the Dark Lord. I do believe in our high society. But torture, raping and murder shows we are not superior to others. I want out. I want to escape. And I need asylum. I know you have Harry Potter’s ear as well as that Phoenix Order. I’m asking for your help to get me out of the hell hole I’m stuck in.” The Challenge is to write a story of Ginny coming to terms with this person and eventually helping him/her get out of his/her situation and on to safety. Rules: 1. All general submission rules apply. Stories over 20,000 words are discouraged but not prohibited. R-rated stories are allowed but discouraged. This is an interesting one, with lots of potential. I'm looking forward to seeing what people come up with. I have a few ideas brewing myself...if I may ask, how rigidly must we stick to the opening paragraphs provided? Is there some wiggling room for different interpretations while keeping with the main theme of an unknown character looking for asylum and seeking Ginny out?
