Okay, that was unexpected! My tremendous gratitude to all readers who voted, to the site administrators, and to the other nominated and recognized authors who wrote some wonderful stories!

ProfessorBinns79 came out of the woodwork on 2015.01.15 - 10:04AM to say:

It's about time people started to realize how good a writer you are, GHL. Good to see your stories get some love!

ProfessorBinns79 came out of the woodwork on 2015.01.15 - 10:52AM to say:

Jenn, my Annual Awards ballot is empty. Is everyone else having this problem?

GHL came out of the woodwork on 2015.01.15 - 12:27PM to say:

I'm humbled by your kinds words, ProfessorBinns79! And I too am lacking an annual awards ballot right now.

my Annual Awards ballot is empty as well - did the Nargles get to them???

Arnel came out of the woodwork on 2015.01.15 - 10:56PM to say:

Like ProfessorBinns79 and hot4cricket, the ballot for the Annual Voting is blank for me as well. On another note, congratulations to all the winners and those who were awarded honorable mention in the November/December Silver Trinkets. We have enjoyed reading your work and sincerely hope you'll continue to post new stories for us to read.

My congratulations to all the winners and honourable mentioned and my deepest respect to all who shared their writings and contributed to my relaxing reading evenings.

Congrats to all of the winners! There were a lot of amazing stories to chose from this time around. Thank you for the votes! Sadly the Annual Voting remains blank.

hot48cricket came out of the woodwork on 2015.01.21 - 10:57PM to say:

What's up with the annual voting???? The ballots are blank.....still!!!!!

ProfessorBinns79 came out of the woodwork on 2015.01.21 - 11:26PM to say:

I noticed on her author page that Jenn's last login to the site was the 15th, which is when she put this thread up. I assume she'll correct the ballot next time she logs in. Does anyone have a personal email address to reach her?

Brennus came out of the woodwork on 2015.01.22 - 01:51AM to say:

I experimentally tried hitting the vote button to see if some options came up, but instead got a vote counted message. I now have no idea what I voted for. that will teach me to fiddle with things!

GHL came out of the woodwork on 2015.01.22 - 01:18PM to say:

I have it on record from highly reliable sources (a.k.a., Peeves and the Bloody Baron) that Brennus's randomly compiled votes were registered in favour of several classic episodes of "Dad's Army" and a comic re-interpretation of "The Brothers Karamazov".

Northumbrian came out of the woodwork on 2015.01.22 - 04:57PM to say:

Don't tell them, Pike, er, I mean don't tell them GHL.

Brennus came out of the woodwork on 2015.01.23 - 04:37PM to say:

Don't panic, Captain Mainwaring! Err, you two do realise the Americans on this site will have no idea what we're on about, don't you?

ProfessorBinns79 came out of the woodwork on 2015.01.24 - 01:39AM to say:

Not a clue! It's definitely not a coincidence that so many of the best fan fiction writers are British. Speaking of which, have any of you seen the new David Heyman-produced "Paddington." It's just a silly kids movie, but Julie Walters (Molly Weasley) is in it and gets the final blow against the villain. I wanted to yell out, "Not my bear, you bitch!" but there were children present!

GHL came out of the woodwork on 2015.01.27 - 06:28PM to say:

At least one of SIYE's senior staff is currently making inquiries about the ballot situation (thank you, SO!) and with any luck a resolution will be possible. Regarding ProfessorBinns79 and any associated epithets directed toward animated taxidermist villains -- please don't be shy. Would get lots of hits on YouTube!
