This is a fascinating story. I thought the bit about degrees of magical inheritance made sense. And, of course the cliffhanger. Good thing the story is complete!

Yes, Sharon's back! Long time no speak. Nice to see you posting again and a very intriguing story you've come up with, too. I'm looking forward to finding out what mysterious secret has been intrusted to the Prewitt line.
I've been a visitor to the British Museum many times and always make a point to see the Sutton Hoo helmet and associated exhibits, although I'm miffed the staff never let me try the helmet on. I think it would suit me nicely (i.e. it would cover my face).
Looking forward to the next chapter.
Author's Response: Thanks, Mark! I studied the British Museum website wishing I could go visit. Those museum guards are always a bit picky about people leaving the artifacts alone - go figure. Lots of British history in the next chapter.

Ooh, the plot thickens! Really good and interesting start to the story.
I love the little references to Harry and Ginny's relationship in the latter part of the chapter and I really look forward to reading more :)

It's a quite intriguing start. I loved it.
I was somewhat surprised that the long-awaited event happened after Voldemort's downfall. Hence I'm really curious what this secret is all about.

I always feel a bit bad for speaking over another review, but I frankly found some real sweetness in the manner in which the H/G relationship was alluded to in the latter part of this chapter. I wouldn't be surprised if we see some more of that.
There are other things to like about this story, of course. You have real 1998 intrigue, and have studious averted any glimpses to what lies behind your hand. Being who I am, though, I find myself stewing over old timelines (both JKR and Muggle), wondering if those Plantagenet lions are also (or actually) Gryffindor lions; wondering what historical context might emerge in the late 1400's. Basically just wondering stuff...
Also wondering whether Hermione's collision course will be with Ginny or with Molly? Both could get a bit... sparky :)
Anxiously awaiting the next installment!
Author's Response: Thank you! There will be some Harry/Ginny in later chapters. The next chapter will go into the history - both Muggle and wizarding. They surprisingly match up very well. Hope you continue to enjoy it!

I think that this is well written story, but I rather read story's that Harry is main character. So when I come across a story that Harry is not really in the story, I put the best review I can. even if I had little interested in the story
