I am so excited that this story is getting more chapters! I feel like when I first started it, I thought it was going to be a one-shot deal. Then a few more chapters got added, and it was just so satisfying to see James and Annie develop what feels like a natural relationship, building off of their history and a new attraction. I'm also wondering if the Bloodstone is what allowed Jacqui past the Muggle-repelling charm at Drakeshaugh (Ginny seemed surprised that Jacqui could just walk right up, or something along those lines)...or am I totally off? I always had the impression that something about Jacqui was...not entirely muggle.

Author's Response: I'm beginning to realise that this is going to be as long as Strangers! That wasn't the original plan, but James and Annie have a lot to deal with. Good guess about the bloodstone. Not entirely Muggle is a good way to put it. -N-

Great chapter. I love James and Annies easy flowing teasing, history together yet discovering new things about each other. What really sticks out to me is you obvious knowledge of the area/locations you are writing about whuch just adds to the enjoyment of the chapter and story, even in your prequel ( if you will) SAD story. Really enjoying this story immensely xx

Author's Response: Annie and James knew each other for years. I have a timeline for what's happened in the intervening years. They have a lot to discover (particularly Annie!). I'm more familiar with North East England than with Yorkshire and Derbyshire. It's a very long time since I was at Castleton, but it wasn't difficult to remind myself. -N-

I'm very curious about the bloodstone claw pendant that Annie has. Is it important to the plot or just a red herring? I don't actually expect an answer to that! James is definitely proving himself to be a decent guy. The relationship developing between James and Annie is wonderful and genuine. I'm glad they are tentative and not too certain of themselves.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review. It's good to hear that the relationship is genuine, and tentative. That was my plan. -N-

Annie is getting over Simon and noticing how James is a kind person. I really like him and this ship.

Author's Response: :)

Author's Response: The bantering between these two is a great driver for this story. -N-
