A touching, near-brilliant, Grimmauld confrontation! I chuckle to myself as I write the review because, just before reading this chapter, I skimmed prior comments and saw your oft-repeated explanation of how this story follows a more natural timeline toward H/G romance.
Indeed a true romance, as this chapter illustrates, is not a climatic first kiss, or the dramatic sefless rescue, but rather all of those tiny sparks and revelations that set the heart to wondering...
Author's Response: Thank you so much for this lovely review! I fully admit I have struggled occasionally with how to write the romance of Harry and Ginny. They are the iconic couple of this world. Writing about their relationship almost feels too personal, so I'm trying to handle it very slowly and carefully, particularly since everything hinges upon them!

Another great chapter! Nice to see a little Harry-Ginny action even if it was at Arthur's expense! Hated to see Dorko with Anna coping a feel! I don't blame Anna for being a little flustered after dancing with a ferret! Appreciate you agreement about Kloves! Dramatic license is one thing but when you make up scenes that didn't happen in the books or change a scene as important as Harry destroying Riddle after ignoring the power of love angle that' was too much! Can't wait for the next one! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
Author's Response: Thank you so much for this lovely review! Harry and Ginny are uniquely capable of supporting one another due to their experiences with Riddle. It felt natural for them to have a bit of a moment, even if it was brief! As for Dorko, yes, anyone having to dance with him should be flustered!
Regarding the movie discussion, the movies made for books six and seven were definitely disappointing in my opinion. Key scenes were left out and altered too much! I sat in the theater thinking "Wait, what?" entirely too often.

Great update. The start of more frequent Ginny/Harry scenes?
I'm more and more concerned about the Anna/Malfoy thing. In the last chapter “her cheeks growing warm" when Malfoy approached her, now she feels a “strange burning sensation” when he's groping her. Might have something to do with her blood ritual. We will see...
Author's Response: Thank you very much for this review! Scenes between our favorite couple will be coming here and there (slow burn to be sure). Harry's a bit awkward romantically, and my version of Ginny has not dated anyone. I quite agree with your concern about Anna and Malfoy. I'm also extremely impressed by your attention to detail! The next chapter will explain more.

I liked the scene between Ginny and Harry. I'm already looking forward to reading how it'll go on between the two of them. I had to grin when I pictured the Weasleys plus Harry visiting St. Mungo's in their dressing gowns.
Let's just hope Malfoy poisons himself when he purchases the Opal Necklace so he never gets another chance to feel Anna up.
Author's Response: Thank you so much for this review! I loved writing the conversation between Ginny and Harry. They have experiences with Tom Riddle that are quite separate from those around them. What an excellent idea to have Malfoy accidentally poison himself with the opal necklace!!!

I've only read the last chapter of the first story and a little of other chapters since you have been posting both stories. I read all of the chaoters of this story. The thing i'm missing is the romance / pairing of Harry and Ginny. The stories seem to be mostly Anna's point of view which is okay.
Author's Response: Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I understand your choice to not read the first book. If you are reading the second book with an open mind, you should still be able to understand the story. Please realize you will be lacking some background knowledge. In my summary of this book, I tell readers that the romance between Harry and Ginny will develop slowly due to their ages. JKR does not have Harry and Ginny together as a couple until the end of book 6. At this point in my story, we are at Christmas of book 5. I have not yet diverged enough from canon to justify a fast pairing between our favorite couple. Since Anna is an original character, I often use her point of view to develop her character, though I am writing this story from multiple perspectives. If you are looking for a story that includes immediate romance between Harry and Ginny, this is probably not the book for you.
