I think J.K. wrote Ginny to be loved, otherwise she wouldn't have made her such a strong character and powerful witch.

This chapter reminds me why I love your writing! You always catch each character's emotions so well!

Delicious. It's long, but it goes fast.

From Harry as the Damsel in Distress, through the table setting and into the degnoming, just fantastic!

Harry’s reaction to seeing the Burrow with the sites and smells that he experienced and anticipated was excellent. I could feel his growing anticipation and relief at being there. Ginny’s entrance and their reactions to each other were well done. I love the twins and howled when Fleur put the “little men” in their place thinking they’d stand a chance with her friends. Too funny! The shrieking flying gnome was another nice touch. Jean-Lucifer! Ha! Watching Harry and Ginny is tough because it is so bittersweet. You’ve portrayed their inner conflicts very well, and I appreciated the reference to Gift of the Magi. Harry and Ginny really are alike in that way. She has a nobility complex too. Marvelous chapter!

you know, rereading this it suddenly occured to me why this line seemed so familiar: '"I think I can manage my own dance partners, thank you, Fleur," Ginny said through gritted teeth.' - nice way of highlighting that similarity to Harry... :-)

Perfect reunion! I can't wait to read J.K.'s version of it- but yours is very much as my mind has envisoned it. He wasn't in this chapter- but I'm really interested to see where the Dudley factor re-enters. His power, Ron's verbal assault, and the secret of who Dudley was left is a very compelling plot twist.

I've struggled with whether or not to write this review. First of all, I loved Curse of the Damned and Power of Emotion. I think that this one is going pretty well too! But, I think that your Hermione is out of character. She gave up her love of authority figured by year 4, and I don't think she would have been so persistent at the Dursleys. I especially think that sharing she would reject out of hand any thought of sharing any information with the Order. Just my 2p. Anyway, great story. I look forward to chapter 4.

The tension is so thick Harry couldn't apparate around it if his life depended on it, and we all know that's the only time he ever gets the spell right. The wedding looks to be very interesting indeed. Let the jealousy begin!

Made my insides shiver. I hope you post the next chapter soon... I can hardly wait.

What can I say? I LOVED the chapter!
(Guess Harry and Ron's systems will be quite full of alcohol by the time the wedding's over, judging by their reactions now...)
Hooray for Ginny! Now, that's a girl. I'd really like to see a Harry vs Jean-Luc scene soon, as well as a bit of French spoken here and there... ;)
Harry and Gabrielle... you know, I thought about that too, but I then remembered she was too young for him - I got that idea ever since I read HBP, you know, Fleur saying Gabrielle never stopped talking about Harry and that stuff... I just hope NOT to see a 16 year-old snogging an eleven year-old, that would be the end of me!
I'd really like to see Krum and Hermione... interacting in front of Ron... xD though I think Fleur and Bill wouldn't find it amusing to have their wedding ruined by a duel or something of that sort...
Hurry up, I can't wait!!! Take care!

Poor Harry and Ginny... I do hope they don't keep sniping at each other.... at least not for too long... I much prefer Harry and Ginny being happy together than seeing them fight.
As for canon, personally, I can't shake the somewhat optimistic though highly unlikely thought that the reason HBP ended with the funeral rather than the train trip home is that Harry and Ginny are back together by the end of the train trip and she wanted them apart at the end of the 6th book... *smiles*
