Magnificent - as we've learnt to expect. It reminded me a bit of the Everlasting Sleep episode in HP& the Time of Destiny, by Abraxan, if you read that. If you didn't, please ignore that comment. Can't wait till you update!
Author's Response: Thanks! I know I read a story by Abraxan a long time ago, but I'm not remembering an everlasting sleep, so I think it might have been different. It could just me my faulty memory, lol. This story has taken over all my fic reading time.

I absolutely loved the idea of everyone keeping a scar. Ron's explanation was perfect.
The road to recovery is never easily paved, but with the help of family and friends, combined with lots of love, it is a remarkable trip.
Author's Response: Thanks! Yay for Ron. That scar thing sort of took on a life of it's own, but I'm happy with the way it turned out.

You are so great at writing true-to-character. I've gone through half of a box of tissues just reading the "Weasleys hospital scene." This is one of those stories that has me anxious for the next chapter, but also not wanting the story to reach its end! Thank you so much for all of the work you put into this. It's really a wonderful story!
Author's Response: Aw, thanks so much. I know how you feel. I'm eager to post the rest to see what you all think, but I know I'll really miss the writing and the feedback once it's over, lol. It'll be very bittersweet.

I had been looking foward to this all day yesterday and was so extatic when I woke up today and it was posted. I was absolutely thrilled at how you did this chapter and how you had all the Weasley's live! Yeah! I also liked how you didn't have Harry wake up and do the old "I love you" exchange with Ginny. He's awake, but he's still in bad shape and not fully aware of things around him, signalling a long road still ahead and that's how I invisioned you write this. Can't wait till the next chap!
Author's Response: Thanks! I agree with you completely. After defeating Voldemort, I just can't imagine he'd be able to walk away injury-free. Perhaps it's just my penchant for angst, though. Hee.

I'm so happy that you have three more chapters coming - wouldn't want this to end too soon. Poor Ginny...I'm sure Harry will be fine though, in the end, with her to support him. Things will be rough for a while though. You did another great job with this chapter, all of your characters fit so well with canon. I thought that it was really sweet that all of the Weasley's kept their scars. Oh, and yay Snot! Glad you brought him back again. :)
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it, and you're right. If Harry survived with the Dursleys, he'll do much, much better with the Weasleys.

Great chapter and what a nice present for having to wake up so early today!
I think you did a wonderful job in showing the chaotic yet structured aftermath. There was a lot of waiting and not knowing and I liked the way you had the Weasleys trickle in. Of course, it was nice to see Mrs. Weasley be the first to arrive. As much as Ginny might not have enjoyed her overprotectiveness before, right then she needed her mum. She was scared. I know sometimes when things are tough like that a hug from your mother can do wonders. And of course, Mrs. Weasley is a Mama Bear - she knew her babies needed her and she was there! I think this is something authors often forget in writing HP fanfics. Yes, Mrs. Weasley may like to coddle, but there are times when the children need/want it. It was a nice place to see that side of things.
I feel really bad for Draco. Who does he have left? Pansy and his mother are dead, perhaps he will be welcome with Mrs. Parkinson. I would say for him to strengthen his friendship with Dudley, but that boy is scaring me with his Power-hungry ways. I think Ginny or Hermione (or Draco even) should set him straight, couldn't he see how much damage the last wizard seeking power did?
It was a nice touch to talk about the differences between the twins. They may look identical, and even act like it at times, but they aren't completely identical. I also l apprecaited Ginny's thoughts about if she had to choose one of them to loose a leg it would be George. Those are thoughts that cross everyones minds in tough situations, and they feel guilty for thinking it.
Grr. Stupid arrogant young healers. They think they know everything, don't they? :) I hope they, and the rest of the Wizarding World, don't prove to be a nuissance to Harry's recovery. But speaking of the general population, I liked that you had them rebelling once word spread. It was nice to see that Harry didn't do this singlehandedly. Thats something that is often forgotten about. There's the Ministry, St. Mungo's, Hogwarts, and Diagon Alley just to name a few places that will need protecting/tending to, and the Order wouldn't be able to do it alone.
I am glad you had Harry wake up in this chapter, I don't know if my heart could take it, having to wait!! Just knowing he is somewhat concious is wonderful!
Author's Response: Thank you! And yay for Mrs. Wealsey. She takes a lot of flak, but she truly does love her kids - and they did need her then. You'll get to see more of Draco and Dudley in the next chapter. I see the two of them as rather similar, and each has the possibility of going either way.
