Nice ending. I am waiting now to see your thinking on the whole scar/horcrux thing - you promised!
I am a tiny bit dissapointed - I was expecting a longer "aftermath", as you called it. There is reason after all LOTR didn't end with the One Ring falling into the fires of Mount Doom... I liked the chapter, fluff and tension and all. Was it a bet or something that made you end with "scar"?? Just kidding :-) I really enjoyed your story, it was never top of my favourites (too much angst, too litle fluff, you get my meaning) but very good nonetheless. I am really curious what will you come up with next.
Just one word left to put here: I don't know about others, but I was left with the feeling of an unfinished business. Your story definitely needs some sort of... epilogue? a couple more chapters? not sure.

Author's Response: Thanks! There will still be an epilogue to come. I'm not sure what you're still waiting for with the scar/Horcrux thing, though. I thought it was all explained? Maybe you could PM if you have a question. I understand about the angst/fluff thing. I'm much more an angst fan - straight fluff makes my teeth hurt, lol.

I think you made the right choice inserting "that", the thing with Ginny and Harry, into the story. It fit in perfectly into this chapter. I doubt Rowling would be mad about it or anything if she does see this fic. In fact she'll probably praise you for it.
Anyway, I want to congratulate you on a wonderful, wonderful, WONDERFUL job well done! I am really saddened to see the end of this fic, even though you are still writing the epilogue for this fic. I hope you start up another work soon, and not a one shot but rather something long like this fic and Power of Emotion and Curse of the Damned. I am very much looking forward to anything you create. Also, once Book 7 comes out maybe you can write another fic if you so desire. I will of course read that as well.

Brilliant!
Loved Draco & Ron's new relationship. Your descriptions of the beach have got me feeling warm on a wintry day!
I thought the Harry/Ginny intimacy was very well done and did finish the story off well. I love the last line, which like JKR's book 7 , ends with the word "scar". Nice touch, and I would love it if book 7 finished with that line.
You have nothing to be ashamed of in this story. I'm sure JKR would enjoy it as well as the rest of us have.

Noooo! I'm so sad it's all over!
Perfect ending. =) I loved the whole chapter. Ron and Draco's awkwardness, the nude beach, Harry and Ginny spending the night together. Oh it was all just grand.
Looking forward to the epilogue. I'd leave a longer review, but reading this might make me late for work now... 'twas worth it though.

Terrific! I especially like how you ended with the word 'scar'. Not only that, but the sentence also has some poetic value. Very nice.
Is this the last chapter, or will there be an epilogue?

Bravo!! Another wonderful story. I love that Harry "got his reward" in this chapter. It fit very well in the story. There is no way that 2 teenagers that went through what they did and love each other the way they do would not want to show their feeling in everyway possible.
I also love that you have them going back to school for one last carefree year. I have been thinking for awhile that JKR should do that, but it really doesn'y fit into her model.
I have stopped myself from rereadaing this story until it was finished. I can't wait to start at the beginning.

Author's Response: Oh, thanks much! I don't think we'll see anything remotely close to their intimacy in canon, so I thought they deserved it here, lol. I like the idea of him having a free year at school. I know we'd hound JKR endlessly to see it if she did, so I doubt that'll happen. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
