Very cryptic, that message from Gnny...

Love your other fiction, and glad to see that this story is living up to your previous work! Keep it up

Author's Response: Thank you and I hope I can live up to myself. That's a rather daunting task, I assure you.

I have to wonder at the letters that Ginny keeps sending. Are they like written in some secret code that they just havent figured out yet. Cause I mean the notes are really un-ginny like. "Hermone you haven't kissed Ron yet" "I'm taking my cat Crookshanks" I mean come on. How weird is that. And if she is writing in code, how dense are those three anyway, Hermione is smarter than that. Anyway, hope you let us know soon. ~Fliberty~

Author's Response: Very weird... which of course means that something else has to be going on. And yes, Hermione is smarter than that... doesn't mean she knows anything though.

Hmmm... so they've apparently determined that -- at least until they've exhausted other possibilities -- the department store doesn't have a Horcrux, eh?

Interesting little hints of clues with respect to Ginny. Most telling, though, was the comment about Harry: "He did not like to sit on the sidelines." Heh -- well, then he should have a better-than-average idea of how Ginny felt about being pushed there, yes? :-}

Re: the Underground -- I'm completely unfamiliar with the stations there, but for similar systems (e.g., in San Francisco & the D.C metro area), I recall being advised to do the map-reading within the station, lest one appear to be an "easy mark" (e.g., for a pickpocket).

I find it slightly odd that Hermione wanted Harry to Disillusion her, but un-did his spell herself -- why wouldn't she have Disillusioned herself? (Not a big issue; it just caused a "Huh??!?" reaction.)

Of course, I'm still quite enjoying the story, and look forward to the next chapter. :-)

Author's Response: I know... it's a not so subtle kick to Harry's butt. I'm going on what my husband told me about the underground in London. He's been there and he told me that he's pretty sure there were adverts but he could possibly be mixing it up with New York and DC (we've both been on those) and I didn't have anyone handy to ask. I have to admit that I wasn't really thinking when I had Harry do the spell and then Hermione undo it. That was just my exhaustion coming through from when I wrote it. ;-)
