I was attempting to write my own little seventh year fic called "The Red Flame," and every time I posted, I saw this fic on the "Recently Updated" list. I must admit that since yours also has "Flame" in the title, I've always wanted to read it. In these final days before Book Seven, I finally decided to check out your version of seventh year.
As you can see, I'm about a third of the way through the fic -- a good place to stop for now, with the discovery of RAB as Regulus Black with the locket. What makes this fic stand out is that, well, in many fics the Trio leaves Ginny behind. But here, you have Ginny disappear before the Trio even sets off to begin the search for the Horcruxes. And of course, the biggest mystery in the parts I've read so far is what Ginny is doing, especially with a Death Eater like Nott.
Come to think of it, Ginny is being secretive about her trip, just as the Trio keeping its search for the Horcruxes under wraps. The latter is because Dumbledore has told them not to tell, while Ginny is keeping quiet because of -- Tonks?????
It's sad that Percy dies before he has a chance to really reconcile with the family.
Keep up the good work! Hopefully, I'll have time to read more chapters soon!

I can't help but find it curious that the lads appear to be willing to take action based on un-corroborated hearsay evidence. Good thing they have Hermione around. :-) Excellent, of course.

What? Ginny is with Nott!!. I don't get it but I know that you will let me know in a few chapters. Great chapter I cant wait for your next update.

Finally some breaking events! They have the horcrux and definite news of where Ginny is. I can see that your chapters are building up with more adventure and I can feel the romantic tension inHarry as he is SO frustrated.

Author's Response: Yeah, there will be a lot going on in the story, even if it doesn't always seem like it. Hopefully another chapter on Monday :-)

Hmmm... I don't think Ginny's new residence is going to sit well with Harry, Ron, or the readers.
Nice little twist with Regulus where Ron and Harry doubted that they actually had the Horcrux.
Still not understanding why Molly isn't absolutely going bonkers over Ginny... and I'm thinking Hermione better explain some things to thick and thicker before they go storming off after Ginny... Harry's been getting more and more edgy and when he does he's prone to do things like the DoM...
