More needed revelations from Ginny about life at Hogwarts.

Such sorrow, such pain in such a strong girl. I'm so glad she was able to talk to Harry.
I really liked her saying, "Not you, never you, Harry". And that last exchange was just perfect.

The best Post War story so far I ever read and I assure you I read a lot. Ginny breakdown is simply perfect the way you wrote it. I'd like to write more but my English is not too good so I thank you very much for writing and I keep reading this wonderful story until the end. Thank you

I've just finished reading all of Rebuilding for the first time. I have to say, it's going to be hard to wait for the next installment.

My fluff-loving heart adores how loving Harry and Ginny are able to be for each other, and up to the second-to-last chapter that was enough. Now, I'm also dying to see what happens with the plot. You have allowed Harry to grow in believable ways. Ginny seemed a bit shallow, but now you've explained it, again in a totally convincing way. (Come to think of it, I've had seasons in my life when I lived in blissful denial too.) I can't wait to get a stronger sense of the depth of Ginny's character as she continues to confront her demons.

On another note, I'll say that I don't usually enjoy a lot of OC and "local flavor" in my fics, but through your writerly skill you've earned the right to do both. I enjoyed your descriptions of Oz and your integration of local mythology. Your OCs ring true. And of course with the "Wilkinses" JKR gave you the opening to do so.

I hope you keep writing, and I can't wait for more.

OC are always a bit of a risk I think. Oz was a risk as well. It worked for some and for the most part - learned a lot from it though! I hope I continue to pull off OCs as I have a few more up my sleeve ... :) Thanks for reviewing! It's always good to hear what works! I'll try and give some more of what works ;)

I love how you portray the relationships among the Trio. Ron & Hermione’s “discussion� about Percy, Ginny, and Harry was funny and the arguments from each of them was true to their characters. The scene in the garden was so poignant. They understand each other so well and you do a great job of showing each one’s love for the other two.

The guilt about Unforgiveables suddenly overwhelming Harry, George’s grief last chapter—it’s so real how you present their lives post-Voldemort. No one recovers instantly from events such as have transpired over the last year and the horrors and anguish easily raise up their ugly heads as a word, smell, or event triggers the memories. A lot of stories have Harry come back, kiss Ginny, and all is sunshine again—yuck. Their emotional lives will be like roller coasters for a long time. Thanks for recognizing that and writing it so well.

“It’s an Auror medallion wallet,� he said. “Where did you get one of those Harry? They are highly regulated. Not something a person can go about liberating and using without authorisation. Not even you.�
This pompous little speech from Percy made me want to slap him! His protective brother stance about Ginny is understandable, but this was totally mean-spirited. I’m beginning to think that Percy’s problem is simply that he’s consumed with jealousy; that he’s jealous of Harry’s adoption into the family, of Harry’s fame, and that his brothers care for Harry more than him.

Molly ordering her sons around at her arrival from St Mungo’s was so funny. They’re all adults, but it’s hard to tell, the way she talked to them. Actually it sounded just like my mom with me and my siblings when we visit her (and we’re all in our 30s & 40s)!

I’m so glad that Ginny finally unloaded some of her burden. It’s understandable why she held it in—Harry was a complete wreck after the last battle and he needed some time to heal before he could reach out to her. Now she’s a wreck and Harry can return the favor of a listening ear and a shoulder to cry on. It will be difficult for her to return to Hogwarts, but at least she’ll have a good support system around her.

Rather hope that Harry gets to see Dudley before school starts. Definitely looking forward to the next chapter.

I find it entirely unrealistic that Harry kisses Ginny and wanders happily off into the sunset. (er, obviously ...) It's been fun exploring what might have happened. I' glad it is so well recieved and well Dudley ... yes er, Dudley lol we'll get there, I promise!

I apprecate any review that says more than "Brava maestra!" I heart these reviews that really tell me what it is people have loved. (or hated, but that not so much ... lol) So thank you, get long winded ay time you like!

Well, very touching little scene there at the end, very nicely done with getting Ginny to finally open up and share, I fully understand her point about not doing so earlier because Harry had the greater need, now it is her turn I think, to let Harry heal her, a part which you write so full of feeling

just read the whole thing in one go and all I could think was I finally found someone who writes Harry & Ginny as well as St. Margaret, and that is a real treat.

Wow, this story is brilliant! I love how you handle Harry's character after the final battle. From other stories I have read they make it seem that after the battle, everything is all and good for him. But after losing so many people in the war, and going threw what he went threw you cant come out of that without a few scares(actual, and mental). Again, great job so far. Keep up the good work, and update soon and oftan!
