Reviews For Finding Ginny

My heart bleeds for Ginny, and the sadness of man's inhumanity to man. Well, she is not the first female to be taken in by a smooth talking con man.

I was very glad to see some tenderness between Harry and Ginny developing in this chapter. So there is hope for full restoration.

Author's Response: Sorry it's taken so long to reply to your review. As the next chapter is up, no doubt you have seen the results of Harry and Ginny's budding relationship. Ginny certainly has been to hell and back and she dealt with the aftermath alone. Thank you for the review. Lesley.

I am frustrated when reading over my reviews because they are not adequately communicating what a great story I think this is! You are a master of emotion! Thank you!

Author's Response: Thank you for the kind words TonBombadil. I really appreciate your review and this one is particularly gratifying. :) Lesley

Holy Smokes, you keep throwing those bomb shells at us! I wonder if Ron survived the day.
And what about Molly??? THAT discussion could either way. I am curious to see why Ginny's and Molly's relationship was this unreasonably tense all along...compared to the boys at least. There has got to be more to that than we can see at the moment.
I feel a bit sorry for Harry at the moment. He really doesn't get yet, that Ginny DOES love him, does he? He still feels like she is only putting up with him because he is helping her...those will be some sweet moments when they finally trust each other enough to open up to each other :)

Author's Response: Thank you for your lovely review. Yes, it will be a moment when both Harry and Ginny actually talk to each other. As for Molly, her expectations of her daughter were much higher than what she ever expected of her boys. This is mainly due to the fact that Ginny WANTED to be a boy, and Molly was determined to turn her into a mirror image of herself and make her a lady despite the evidence that her daughter didn't want to be a Molly replica. It was also Molly's way of ensuring her daughter remained in a little box where she concentrated on her studies and not on boys. And as often happens when a child is subjugated, they rebel and do the opposite of what has been drilled into them. Molly loves her daughter and she has had a long time to reflect on her behaviour. I hope you enjoy the rest of the story. Lesley

Wow I'm sorry Ginny has had to tell the story to Ron first, but RONS A DUMBASS FOR SHOTING AT GINNY TO BEGIN WITH......kutgw

Author's Response: Yes, Ron certainly didn't handle things well. The Weasley temper (a legacy from his mother, and one Ginny also has) is in full on mode. Thank you for your review. Lesley

Another emotional chapter. I really like the scene of Harry just punching Ron, it seemed to actually knock at least some sense into him. Maybe now that the whole truth is out, things will at least start to improve? I can only hope!

Author's Response: Thank you for the review. As the next chapter is up, no doubt you have seen how ron's temper tantrum has panned out. Lesley.

Way to drop a bomb. Truth to tell, in retrospect, it's not that much of a surprise.

Author's Response: Yes, I am sure many people guessed Ginny's harrowing experience. Thank you for the review. Lesley

Even though I have been expecting the gang rape for several chapters ... All the way back to Ginny commenting about men taking what they wanted, Ginny's revelation rips my heart! What a phenomenal young woman you have created.

I am totally disgusted with Ron at the moment. His listening skills have much to be desired and I would have thought that three more years of maturity would have turned him into a more supportive young man. However, I can see that he's just as self-centered as he was at sixteen/seventeen and that makes me sad because he's really the key to getting Ginny accepted back into the Weasley family. If he can't be mature enough to see that his sister is the victim rather than the aggressor, I'm not sure Ginny should try to contact the rest of her family.

It makes me so happy that Harry is the mature one in this situation. Everything he's done speaks of his acceptance of the truth, and while I think he'll later have a few dark thoughts about revenge against Malfoy in private, he's doing the right thing to center his attention on Ginny and make sure she knows she has his undying support and acceptance, that he loves her and Bonnie no matter what.

I hope the next chapter appears post-haste. This mini-cliffhanger is making my nose twitch.
