Ah, finally, Lucius's plan why he kidnapped Ginny has been revealed. I'd suspected that he wanted to foist Ginny on the Weasley's, and I was pretty curious why.

It was a very interesting summary of the family life of the Weasley’s over the years.
The prank that Bill pulled on Dumbledore was splendid. I'd reckoned that Bill would find and examine Dumbledore's monitoring tools for Harry on this occasion. Unfortunately (or fortunately?), it didn't happen.

You know, you might want to add a diversionary charm that Lucius cast of Ginny that would hide her. Other wise it was likely that a magical child would have been found.

Author's Response: I've always loved the name of Beauxbatons, although JKR probably meant it to be "beautiful wands". Ginny wasn't left alone for very long before she was found, so I don't think a diversionary charm was really necessary. Thanks for reviewing again.

Again, a very pleasurable chapter to read.
The idea that Lucius Malfoy could have been a brother in law to Giselle was quite shocking but also good to know he didn't get there because she loathed him, so does his wife for that matter.
Knowing that Arthur is much better of, family and love wise that is, is much more fun to think about.
I absolutely loved your description of the Weasleys and their decade of family love and smiled all the way through it. I guess next chapter would be Harry's turn?

I must also compliment you on your usage of timelines because I couldn't find any mistakes in it as I have in others. Well done.

I do sometimes feel sorry for Percy and Ron. Percy is so serious and studious and that is fine but he just doesn't seem to fit the group of Weasleys and therefore is being left on his own by his sibblings because they are not interested in his doings. He must surely miss Bill a lot and I think that his own attitude and the way his sibblings act towards him came a long way in driving him toward the point where he left the family in canon. I hope yours might turn out differently? You never know :D

Ron seems lonely at times because he now shares a birthday with Ginny (no lime-light for Ron) and he's getting the idea in his head quite early on that he seems to be less important than his other sibblings because they excel in their own things and he doesn't know how to be just him, just Ron, who is a great person in his own right. It struck me in your last sentence *~*But perhaps the most portentous happening of all, was that this fall was when Ginny started Hogwarts.*~* So what about Ron, what is he, chopped liver? He's going to Hogwarts as well.

Harry, mon ami, will he be attending Hogwarts or will he attend BeauxBatons (Harry in a light blue,airy BB uniform? LOL). Hope to read that in the next chapter of this fabulous story.

Author's Response: Hi again, Thanks so much for your wonderful review--it's such a happifying thing to know people are enjoying my story enough to respond to it. I really enjoyed watching the Weasleys grow up through those years--it was fun to see their individual personalities start to come out, and start to make them the person they would become. To be honest, I'm not sure how Percy will turn out. I've got most of the brothers' futures in mind, but Percy has normally been somewhat of a non-entity in my mind, so his future is more nebulous than the others'. Ron, on the other hand, is pretty clear in my mind, and I'm somewhat sorry for him. I can't imagine him being able to excel by himself, and with Ginny being in his year, and Ron already acting like a prat, I think it'll be hard on him. It'll be interesting to see what happens as the years pass. Next chapter is, of course, Harry, and we'll get to see where he attends school, although you'll probably have to wait until the chapter after that to see the various reactions to his final destination (which I'm not saying--at least, I don't think I'm saying--maybe I said it before?).
