Okay! I confess that I am re-reading all your stories. My beautiful bride of 38+ years is due for surgery on Thursday and reading your portrayal of H/G makes me feel happy, even though the drama is quite intense! This is really well put together! Thanks!
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad they are still making people happy! Good luck to your wife tomorrow! I know when I was recovering from surgery, I read and reread Abraxan's 'Refiner's Fire' and 'The Time of Destiny' over and over. I'm glad I can do that for someone else.

I am not surprised that Harry and especially Ginny were utterly exhausted by the end of the day, the sheer mental exhaustion, the bitterness and all the new puzzles/questions were bound to leave them feeling completely done in.
I admire Bill for taking the role of Harry's brother and that Harry, by and through his actions, has gained Bill's upmost respect.
Molly still doesn't seem to have a grip, or is not willing to, on the seriousness of the depth of feelings between Harry and Ginny.

So the person who blocked their bond had full knowledge of the Chamber. That's a small group. Those in office who heard Harry's explanation: Dumbledore, McGonagal, Arther, and Molly. And those who actually went into the Chamber: Ron and Harry, Ginny, and Professor Lockhart.
Hmm, could Guilderoy be faking his memory loss? Could be a perfect cover.

Oh, you would just leave it there, wouldn't you? I hope you update soon. I love this story. I'm glad Bill is taking Dumbledore to task for dumping Harry off with the Dursleys (someone needed to) and I'm glad everyone is getting to know Harry's past. Maybe it'll bring about a better appreciation for Harry.
