Ah well, the Dobby scene was very ... Dobby like :-)
The two of them are so good for each other, when Harry is doing his best. However, I wholeheartedly agree with Ginny that Harry is an arsehole sometimes. Maybe that's the reason it took me so long to recognize Harry's later behaviour as Tom's influence. I simply thought that Harry was an arsehole again.
Harry should be happy that the Dursleys haven't taken him to church. I'm pretty sure that wizards and witches aren't burned anymore, but they are certainly not welcome in churches.

Interesting... Harry is being an arsehole here, but he doesn't understand the depth of why Ginny thinks so. He's only seeing as far as his nose.
I'm pretty sure they'd have no idea but yeah better save than sorry lol

It was so sweet how Ginny taught Harry how to swim.
Madam Pomprey is good with Harry. The way she is helping him get over his abusive past, is nice.

the fact that they have held off as long as they have as childrens is amazing but then again they are growing up and ned to learn to control them.....kutgw glad to see harry can swim now....
Author's Response: Yeah, I was made aware a few years ago when this all started that some people were a bit sensitive to that. I haven't actually changed anything significant to make things go this way, and it's actually better for what I have planned. Sorry to be so cryptic. Thanks for the review :)

Very nice chapter! I really liked that you adressed an aspect of abusive that certainly might have been inflicted on Harry, but that wasn't covered in the books and that you used it to build the chapter around it. It's lovely that Ginny takes her time and teaches Harry how to swim and not be afraid.
Really looking forward to the next chapter.
Author's Response: Yeah, this was certainly more in line with the abuses Rowling suggested. This Harry has had it very rough. But he does have a small army of good friends around him :)

Great chapter. I loved how you have Ginny helping Harry with his fear. She is perfect for him, and even though they are young their love is the sweetest thing. Love how you ended with them planning on being late for tea. I look forward to seeing their relationship continue to grow stronger along with their magic.
