A pity they didn't find anything but at least they weren't caught while searching. Seeing their pictures in the paper must cause Harry's guilt to come back. They have always been wanted so it cant make a lot of difference that way...but still, it must be a bit of a shock to see them on the front of the paper and a reminder (if they needed it!) of exactly what they are up against.

Looks like Ginny is Harry's centre. She keeps him calm and reasonably rational.
Seems odd that the Keep had so little protection. Mmmmm.

Author's Response: I think that is a good way to describe her. The keep was essentially abandoned so they didn't run into much - of course no Horcrux either.

I Love this story. It is believable and entertaining. I am not sure I have come across a story yet that made me want to smack Ron and Hermione as much as yours. LOVE it.

The search at York was believable and the ceremony was well done. I just hope that Molly doesn't hex anyone when she finds out. The Bill/Filius meeting was very interesting and it is also fascinating that Bill could detect the prior existence of the Horcrux. I also liked the Harry/Ginny discussion about him missing Ron and Hermione despite their faults. The newspaper headline was a bit overdue.
Author's Response: Thanks! I figured that Bill of all people would be the one to have prior knowledge of Horcruxes and would be the mostly to be able to detect old curses.

Enjoyed the chapter. Not sure how the bad guys figured out the potters were together or involved in the carrows death. I can think of several possibilities and I look forward to finding out what you intended(order betrayed, snape, pince, lucky guess?)
