Congratulations on Best Completed! Though this story could have been best in several of the other catagories as well. One of my all time favorite fan fictions, just got through reading it again. Wonderful, well written, well plotted story!

I think Ginny will hurt for a good while at her mum's lack of faith in her.. Everything seems out in the open now...no more secrets?
Final scenes of the death of Voldermort were brilliant.
Author's Response: Thanks! I think he would sacrifice himself for Ginny in a heartbeat so it seemed like a fitting way to get rid of the Horcrux.

Oh, and what happened to Dolohov while Harry was serving up Voldemont as a headless hunt candidate? I also await to see how Draco and Pansy get their just rewards - a very public confession I hope - I also think that Ron and Hermione are going to carry some guilt for the balance of this life (and maybe some of the nest as well)

Molly, molly, molly - get over it, Harry saved your entire family (and the whole wizarding world) and you need time to think about it? really......Time for Arthur to step in and talk some wizard sense into that woman - As our dear Hermione would say - Honestly!!!

I'm not sure if there is any significance to Harry imagining the Gryffindor Common Room rather than the train station but it is interesting that Sirius took Dumbledore's role there. I like the substitution but I would have thought the more likely one would have been his mother. Sirius only makes sense if having the latest tie to him in life is the determining factor.
You should have mentioned what Voldemort did with Harry when he started talking to Ginny. It seemed weird that he was hovering in the air and then suddenly bouncing on his heels with no transition and Voldemort completely unaware. I hope you reveal what Draco and Pansy thought they were doing, their capture is very odd. Even odder would be a delayed blasting hex as it could be as likely to hurt the caster's side as their enemies. Despite that, the possiblity of Fred's death as in canon was a good source of tension for your story.
Harry misspoke about the role of Dumbledore in the Horcrux hunt. Dumbledore found and destroyed one and even though he didn't know what it was, Harry destroyed the first. Dumbledore then helped Harry find a clue for a third but had nothing to do with recovering or destroying it. I liked the end. It was probably accidental but Harry said one of the few things that would get Molly off the warpath.
There are a few loose ends to tie up, not the least of which is the Elder wand. I look forward to more.
Author's Response: I thought he would be more comfortable in the Common Room, I imagine if you wanted to go on you could floo out of there. I chose Sirius as Harry had more of a connection with him and Harry would feel more comfortable talking to him. I meant that Ginny distracted Voldemort letting Harry regain his feet. The delayed blasting hex is more like magical land mine.

This is a fabulous story - I love how you have used the most canon moments and write them as perhaps they should have been written all along! This is how I always see Ginny and Harry. Wonderful story! Debbie

This will be short (have to do 2 washes, do my work-out routine and shower & pamper in 2 hours) but powerful; I like your version and outcome better than JKR's. This, for me, had excitement, tension and the added bonus of the saved lives of Remus, Dora & Fred! *Yaaaaaayh*
I'm going to check out Rachel's story as well because not only you but DukeBrymin recommended it as well.
