Reviews For Unintended Consequences

That was the only part I did not like about the story, it don't seem that Harry and Hermione would be friends again. If they do patch thing up, they wont be as close Reviewer: pottermania Signed Date: 2011.03.03 - 11:31AM Title: Chapter 23 - Best Mates I'm glad Harry didn't just forgive hermione and ron straight away. It's interesting that it's hermoine he is more hurt by. I can understand his reasoning but it's almost that he isn't used to not having Hermione's suppport and took that worse rather than ron who's been known to not always be the be the best friend he could be. I wonder if they will ever truly get back their old friendship...I personally believe it's been damaged beyond complete repair. Harry has changed as a result of it and because of that will likely never slip back to his old ways which, even if they do make up, will change the dynamics of the friendship. It should have been named Hermione Granger and the Deathly Beaded Bag. Reviewer: Emlyn Signed Date: 2011.01.31 - 05:21PM Title: Chapter 23 - Best Mates Great story! I really enjoyed it. I love how you develop Harry and Ginny's relationship. I'm glad Remus, Tonks, and Fred were not killed off. Yet, it was not a happily ever after, everyone lives story either. You did a good job of having them find and deal with the Horcruxes, yet in a way different from canon. Good job. Reviewer: ginnyweasley777 Signed Date: 2011.01.12 - 01:54PM Title: Chapter 23 - Best Mates an excellent chapter Reviewer: Dad Signed Date: 2011.01.12 - 11:50AM Title: Chapter 23 - Best Mates I have just noticed this story has had nearly 28,000 hits. That must say something. Reviewer: Dad Signed Date: 2011.01.12 - 11:47AM Title: Chapter 23 - Best Mates This has been an excellent read all the way. I also think it is the right of an author to recreate the characters (possibly even necessary) in their own way to give originality to a story. I can easily see why Harry feels let down by his friends even if their actions were not deliberate. Thank you. Reviewer: ashmeadowphoenix Signed Date: 2011.01.12 - 09:35AM Title: Chapter 23 - Best Mates I'm afraid I also have problems with your interpretations of Hermione, Harry, and Ron, as I don't think their actions follow from the deviation you have made in a way that follows their canon interpretations. The thing about nothing being good enough (cooking fish was mentioned) for Hermione and Ron, was a authorial decision which seems to have been made to give Harry sympathy in his tension with Ron, and as such seems unfair. I'm also not sure why Harry thinks Godric's Hollow was a option Hermione should have supported him on since, if it hadn't been for Ginny, he would have gotten himself killed. Destroying the Horcrux was merely an accident. I guess what I'm saying is that while I like the relationship you have developed between Harry and Ginny, I felt it was unnecessary to destroy his relationships with his best friends in such a fashion. Your Harry doesn't even bother to give his friends the benefit of the doubt; he doesn't ask them whether they ran into any trouble, which they did even in your story and if that contributed to the fact that they couldn't return quickly. He doesn't ask what happen so much as accuses and I'm not sure where he is getting his moral high ground. I'm kinda glad Ron and Hermione weren't in the story much for this reason. Reviewer: seekers_destiny Signed Date: 2011.01.12 - 09:34AM Title: Chapter 23 - Best Mates Based on the end of the chapter I thought it was the end of the story but it isn't marked as such. You didn't cover what happened with the elder wand. You also didn't cover what will happen with Ron and Hermione but that may not be part of your plans anyway. Reviewer: dumo123 Signed Date: 2011.01.12 - 09:00AM Title: Chapter 23 - Best Mates I have thoroughly enjoyed this story and the way you have made Harry more independent and strong without dipping into the super!harry cliche.
