I can't wait for the next update. I snickered at Ginny insistence that "Bugger off" is a statement to the press. The brief tie-in with Hunters and Prey was both nice and cruel (because it makes me wish for another chapter of Hunters and Prey). By any chance was the comment about "Harry’s crazier fans" a subtle jab at a small part of the Potter fan base?

Author's Response: Thanks for the review.
The next chapter of this (currently titled 98 Days: A Dress) is something I hope to take a good look at this week. It’s in reasonable shape, it just needs polishing and a beta read.
I would not make jabs at Harry’s crazier fans, as I suspect that I’m one of them. I can certainly rant with the best of them

Beautiful. Please continue this. I would love to read of the wedding itself. And if you could add a Harry-epiphany moment of missing his parents and Sirius...

Brilliant work.

Author's Response: Thanks.
Chapter 3 (98 Days: A Dress) is currently a 2008 word incomplete draft. I'm currently concentrating on Strangers at Drakeshaugh, Hunters and Prey, and Moons, bu I haven't forgotten any of my stories.

Reading your stories is like getting the NEXT seven books of the Harry Potter series, but with a chapter from over here, then one from this other time, then another with these characters over there, etc. It all interrelates. There's a reference in this chapter to something Romilda Vane does in A&S. Last chapter briefly (very briefly) mentions Fenella, who's an OC in at least two of your other stories. I'm glad I'm keeping up with your stuff so I catch the little tidbits that get mixed in.

To everyone else, if you're reading this review, and you haven't read all the other Northumbrian stories, then put aside some time and do so. You'll need to go to other websites to pick up the ones that aren't Harry/Ginny specific (Read "Tales of the Battle" first, I think).

Another great chunk of writing, as always. Fun to read. Thank you.

Author's Response:
Thanks for the rview

You're right, characters tend to drift into and out of my stories. I have a small but growing cast of original characters alongside the canon characters (like Romilda). Fenella appears in a huge number of stories (she even takes a lead role in "Summer of '97"). Mark Moon fails to meet Lavender in "Tales of the Battle" but 13 years later (in Stranger's at Drakeshaugh) Lavender is Mrs Moon and they have a daughter. Everything will fit together eventually.

Thanks for the recommendation. All of my stuff is at fanfiction.net. But all of my Harry/Ginny stuff is posted here first (because I regard this site as my true home), Summer of '97, The Hufflepuff, Fred and George's Busy Day and The Pencil Portrait Problem all take place before Tales of the Battle, but I sincerely hope that my Harry/Ginny stories stand alone and you don't need to read the other stuff.

I love this story! Love how the Harpies utilize the event and press to sell tickets! Very realistic! Cannot wait for the next chapter!

Author's Response: Thanks for the review. I'm happy that you think the Harpies attitude is realistic. There will be more, but coon? -N-

This is such a lovely story, and it's barely even started. I can't wait to see where you take us with this. :]

Author's Response: Thanks. I'll eventually (and slowly, probably) take you to the wedding. -N-

Fantastic as usual!

And here it was only a few weeks ago that I deleted my link to this chapter from my bookmarks thinking that you might have given it up as a one-shot...

I can picture the photo and wanting purchase both versions of Harpies kit ;-)

Author's Response:
Thank you.

Not given up, but certainly not top priority. Sports fans will buy anything, won't they?

Author's Response: The club exists to make money. They need to pay their players. -N-

That was really great. A brilliant marketing and a brilliant little story. I loved the little details - the Helllions photos (BTW, when do you intend that story? - it's my favourite story of yours), Harry being very clear about how he loves Quidditch and Ginny's perfomances. Their protectiveness of their privacy and the evident love they have for each other.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review. Smart move by the Harpies, I'm not sure what Ginny will think about it. Hunters and Prey is being worked on, as is Strangers. I have no doubt that Harry attends every game that he can. Harry has always hated publicity and I think that Ginny might find fame a little tiresome, too. Love includes care and protection. -N-

Love it! Did think for a moment you might have had the Daily Prophet hacking their magic mirror...so glad this story is continuing. You know I always love to see another piece of your jigsaw. Now I'm dying for the next installments of Hunters and Prey so we can fill in a gap.
Good job with Andorra, she must be good at her job to get round Ginny.

Author's Response: Thanks. The current phone hacking scandal was in my mind when I wrote this, but I don't think that magic mirrors can be hacked. Although they can be stolen -- hmmm...
Being a Press Officer to the Harpies can't be easy.

Can you say photo opportunity?! Loved Ginny's reaction to the Witch Weekly article and the way she named all the pictures. Very nice.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review. Photo opportunity? Certainly. As for Witch Weekly, Ginny knows Harry. But, perhaps there will be a face-off with a columnist. -N-

You are indeed a brilliant writer, Northy! Love this one to pieces! Please keep it coming!

Author's Response: Thank you. There will be more of something soon, but it won't be this. -N-

The gap between chapters is eight days. Does this mean there will be about twelve more chapters to this particular story? I certainly hope so, but I think you may have to take up writing full time if you want to keep up with the other strands of Harry and Ginny's tale.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review. The gaps will vary, as will the chapters, which will appear when the idea strikes. The Hen Party is a very rough idea. The wedding dress chapter is an unfinished draft, and probably will be for some time. I can't afford to write full time (if only...). -N-

Nice little side-view of the lives of the Potters--getting the new jerseys out with "Potter" is a great marketing opportunity. Nice reference back to the halcyion holidays of the harpies hellions. (thought I would try for alliteration). I also enjoyed Ginny's confidence--which you have shown before--when she rattles off the names of all of Harry's girlfriends. Thanks.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review. The Harpies management know a good business opportunity when they see one. The Hellions are fresh in my mind at the moment. For "girlfriends" substitute "girls who Harry has been photographed in close physical proximity to", to the newspapers it's the sdame thing. -N-

That's awesome. I was wondering when there'd be an update to this story. Though re reading the first chapter brought up a question for me. I was thinking about Strangers, and realized that Teddy has been absent from the story, even at the family get together. Is there any reason for this?

Author's Response: The next update may be marginally quicker, but i'm not promising anything. Teddy wasn't at the Weasley gathering at Drakeshaugh for one very simple reason. He's eleven. He's in his first year at Hogwarts. -N-
