Wow, these criminals are truly sick and disturbing individuals.

Author's Response: Psychopath is the appropriate word here, especially for the Matron. She's a very warped woman who enjoys causing pain just as much as Voldemort and Bellatrix did, but in her own way. To her, paybacks are hell... literally. Her "volunteers" and "employees" aren't much better.

Finge slipped on the ipod before giving a rating! Meant to also add that I can see Harry's input with Brian will be very beneficial to them both.

Author's Response: Thanks for the stars. Yes, you'll see that in helping Brian, Harry will help himself in future chapters.

Thank goodness for a vigilant healer Stilwell. I can understand James' feelings of guilt. It beggars belief that someone is so sick as to do that to an innocent youth. What is their aim in all of this. I wonder if the man arrested is the sacked employee of George's?

Author's Response: After the troubles with Harry's care, Healer Stilwell is going to be doubly vigilant with all of his new cases, especially those who have back injuries, not just because the press could get wind of what's going on, but because he seems to be the only healer targeted. The man arrested in the ward may or may not be George's former employee. Keep reading to find out what happens with him.

Ouch. That was disturbing. I wrote people getting sliced up and stuffed in tin cans, but at least they were involved in the thing to begin with -- to maim an innocent boy for life just for the sake of a crazy experiment and simply because he happens to be around is cruelty on a whole different level. That is just plain sick. (And by that I'm not implying anything about your mental health; again, as long as it's only in the story, I'm applauding you for coming up with that. If there were still any doubts, you've now completely convinced your readers that yes, the perpetrator really is sadistic. And not quite all the way there.)

To look on the brighter side, at least there's one less bad guy running around. And Harry gets to help someone; despite the unpleasantness of the situation, that should make him feel more like himself again.

Author's Response: I never claimed my villainous characters were sane! I agree, Hurting Brian was an act of sheer terrorism and Ron and the Aurors need to stop them before they hurt someone else. As for Harry, he's now in the thick of things even though he's still recovering. That he can help the Nelson family will just hasten Harry's own recovery. I'm glad you're looking on the brighter side. Thanks for writing to me.

Another wonderful chapter. I feel so bad for poor Brian, but I think it will help Harry to focus on someone other than himself.

Author's Response: You're absolutely right about Harry's relationship to Brian and his family. Eventually, those two will help each other and their families will form a lasting friendship born of tragedy... but I'm getting ahead of myself. Thanks for the review. Until next Thursday...

What can I say? Another great chapter and love all the little details you give. Sad this had to also happen to a childbut Ron appears to be determined and hopefully he will get some results.

Author's Response: I'm so glad you like the fact that I try to make my chapters as interesting to myself as they are to my readers with the little details. You're right about Ron being determined; he's determined to stop the people who are responsible for all the injuries as well as being determined to be there for any child who needs him. You'll have to keep reading to discover whether or not he does get some results from the man he arrested. Thanks for the review. Until next Thursday...

Oh Merlin! My heart was in my throat when that piece of dirt experimented on a 15 year old kid. What the devil???? I cannot wait for these criminals to be hanged, drawn and quartered!

Author's Response: I never said my criminals were fair or had morals. To the ringleader, someone like Brian is just another experiment, a means towards an end. And yes, eventually my readers who want revenge just might get it. Thanks for writing.

That chapter ended far to soon. I was enthralled by the story. We finish work early on a Friday, so four more chapters by tommorow would be great. (I live in hope).

Author's Response: First of all, I want to congratulate you on writing my 100th review! I average one set of just stars each chapter, but the website doesn't really count them as reviews, so I've been watching the review count today to see who would write the "winning" review! Thanks. Anyway, I do have those chapters you're requesting finished, but if I post them by tomorrow, it's going to be a long wait; the next six chapters are in bits and pieces as ideas come and go or get rejected because something else seems more appealing and appropriate. There will definitely be more about Brian next chapter as well as Ron's investigation. I plan to mete out the clues and evidence as well as Harry, James and Kendra's growing friendship with the Nelson family over the next few chapters. Hopefully they won't disappoint. Thanks for writing to me.

Wow, poor kid :( I'm glad that Harry is willing to help! I can't wait for more!

Author's Response: Yes, Brian is lucky to have Harry willing to help him and his family. However, I think having someone like himself to share the frustration and daily grind with will help Harry, too. There's lots more to come before the tale is told. Thanks for your comments. Until next Thursday...

Kendrar's going to meet Harry. About time James started introducing her to his family. Excellent chapter as always. Well done.

Author's Response: Don't you agree that it's a little hard to introduce your girlfriend to your family when you're in Scotland and they're in London? Besides, even if James had wanted to introduce her, his parents haven't been up to Hogwarts this year for obvious reasons. Thanks for your comments. I look forward to next week's review.
