I really like the story line here, quite unusual and not at all like your typical HG stories. The only thing I have a problem with is the awkward sentence structure. Suggestion: when you are reviewing your work, read it out loud. I think you will be more likely to find weird or rambling sentences that way. Simple sentences are usually more effective than wordy ones.
Ex. "It was true that since Ginny met Gwenog, she had pulled away from Hermione, but she should know that the older woman was there for whenever he sister-in-law needed her."
This sentence might be better served as two separate sentences, as they seem to be separate thoughts.
Again, I really am enjoying the plot, and am looking forward to reading more chapters!

I'm totally loving it.... I usually hate AU stories and when I do read them I never get passed the first chapter, but with your story I have found there can be more than one exception to any rule...... keep the good work, hope you upload the next chapter soon.....
Author's Response: Wow, can't believe my AU has been the exception. Thought, it's probably just that you haven't read the best AU's out there...I recommend hgfan111, I really doubt you'll be disappointed. I think most, if not all of her stories, have some AU in them...in some of them it's very light, for example, its set in a world where harry and ginny never dated...and, other, are set in a completely different world where, for example, harry and ginny never even met :P You really should read her...she's here on siye! :D

I'm enjoying this so very, very much. Max has only made a small appearance, but I already like the character and his relationship with Harry. And as for Harry fumbling and trying to act with the suaveness he definitely does not have, I'm glad he got his head out of his ass. This is a great story with a fun AU angle and I look foward to reading more.

Another great chapter. Harry showed a bit of volnerablity in this chapter when he was triing to be someone he wasn't. I'm glad Ginny, finally forgave him.

So I'm one of those jerks that always forgets to review... I'm sorry!! But if it means anything really like this story a lot. The premise is very different and leaves me intrigued to see what's going to happen next. I'm really looking forward to Harry and Ginny getting together. Now that Ginny wore the gloves Harry gave her, hopefully that means there will be progress to them forming a relationship! Also, it's really nice that even though the story is so different than canon, everyone seems to be in character. In any case, great job so far and I'm looking forward to more!! :)

Lovely chapter, made my day just as much as Harry's to see she was wearing the gloves. Now let's get them snogging and you'll have made my year ;-)
The one thing that threw me was Harry not knowing Hermione's last name. I know for story's sake there needed to be that moment for Harry of realization and what it means for his relationship with Ginny but him taking this long to learn that Ginny and Hermione are related just felt (to me anyways and what do I know?) the tiniest bit forced.
Only minor gripe in an otherwise fantastic read. Keep up the good work!Author's Response: You're probably right but I'm playing it like Harry's been a little out of it since he turned 17...you know, like not caring much about anything. In the next chapter he'll even realized that he had met Ginny before...but, you're right, it probably was a little forced, but I'm glad to know that that didn't kill the story completely :) Thanks a million for the review.
