Off to a fun start! I always love how you write your interactions between Harry and his kids. What a wonderful dad he is to each of them in the way that they need him to be. :)

Author's Response: Thank you.
This is certainly a "Harry the dad" story. But, as I often say in review replies. JKR showed us what a good dad he was in the epilogue.

Great short story. Shouldn't be surprised, all of your stories are amazing.

Author's Response: Thank you. :-D -N-

Just adding the forgotten stars.

Author's Response: Stars are good, thanks :-D -N-

Another great installment. I'm looking forward to the next installment of whichever story you're working on now. I hope you have it in you to finish all of them. I'll read whatever you write. (But do hope you find the time to work on Strangers, H&P, and A&S soon).

Author's Response: Thanks for the review.
Next (and within days because I promised monthly updates and October is almost at an end) will be chapter 10 of Strangers. H&P is taking a lot of beating into shape, but soon, I hope, and A&S is still only a draft :-(

These Drakeshaugh stories are great. I've saved them for last as I have been pacing myself whlie you continue to work on your stories. You really have a great universe going. I am looking forward to more stories in the future.

On another note as an American who lived for a couple of years in Australia I find humor (or is that humour) with your responses to some of the comments left by Americans. I do appreciate your desire to keep the books true to their "orginal language". I am currently waiting on a good deal so I can get Harry Potter books from Bloomsbury and enjoy them as orignally written as well. Thanks again

Author's Response: Thanks.
My current plans are for one more “Auror” story after Hunters and Prey and then (possibly) another Drakeshaugh story. There will be more “Muggle Interface Team” stories, including a novel.
It may not seem so, but I’m actually fairly relaxed about US spellings in fanfics, I can even ignore words like “sidewalk”, unless they are in dialogue. Dialogue is my personal bugbear. Ron has never said ‘Gee, Mom,’ and he never would. The most annoying review (not here) told me that my use of ‘Speech marks’ rather than “Speech marks” rendered my story unreadable. If you do pick up the Bloomsbury versions you’ll see what a problem this is. :-)

So cute and yet a little sad to see poor Al all by himself. His POV was terrific. Look forward to reading more.

Author's Response: Thanks, I’m glad that you enjoyed Al’s perspective. There will be more soon. -N-

I always enjoy your stories and now with two Drakeshaugh based stories in the mix all the better. Of course having Strangers update would be even better ;-)

Author's Response: Thanks. I hope to have the next chapter of strangers completed and with my beta today. -N-

I really liked this fic. Its so sweet. My favorite was the opening from Al's POV. You did such a great job writing this with his imagination at the forefront. I love that he sees himself as an Auror. Now that I'm hooked on his fic, I think I need to read 'Stangers' too.

Great job with this fic. I love little Al Potter.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review. I love Al too, and his imagination will play a big part in this story. I hope that you enjoy “Strangers”. -N-

Nice one!
Can't wait for the rest of 'Strangers'.

Author's Response: You should see the next chapter soon. -N-

That was a very cute side story. I'm glad you take the time to expand on your creations, tying them into one another. Cute for sure.

Author's Response: Thank you. Everything I've written (apart from Is Draco...) fits into the same timeline. Including the non H/G tuff. -N-

I keep trying to come up with words to articulate why your version of little Al is so adorable, and why I love how you write Harry as a father, but so far all I've got is the extremely unhelpful reaction of "Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!"
Looking forward to the next chapter. I hope Al and Annie become good friends.

Author's Response: Ac tat's the sort of reaction I was trying for, that's fine. :-D Thanks. -N-

Great, Drakeshaugh story! This should be interesting :) Excellent writing as always.

I'm glad to hear about Strangers too. I've been eagerly anticipating for Harry to catch a flying hot dog behind his back at that BBQ. Or something else equally strange ;-)

Author's Response: Thanks for the review, I hope that it will be interesting, I know that it will be short.
Strangers soon, though there will be no hot dogs (sausages, possibly, but not hot dogs :-D)

This was so sweet! I love how Harry played with Al in the woods...just the way I always imagined him as a dad.

Author's Response: Thanks, I'm certain that Harry would do his best to be a good dad, the epilogue shows that. More Potter family stuff soon. -N-

Glad to see you writing more in this story line and I love see ing more of Harry as a dad. Reading this I can definitely tie it in with the way everyone was characterized in JKR's epilogue. Great work.

Author's Response: Thanks again :-)

Author's Response: Thanks. Harry the dad is a great character to write, and he (and Ginny) showed some good parenting skills in the epilogue. They certainly worked as a team. -N-

A delightful start to a promising story. I love how Al pretends to be a famous Auror and that he feels somewhat intimidated by James: it's all normal child behavior, especially for a middle child. I'm glad Harry recognizes Al's games for what they are and am interested in seeing where you take this idea. I love your glimpses into Harry and Ginny's parenting life. Keep the chapters coming. I really like this story.

Author's Response: I had a lot of fun writing Al's perspective from the stary. I threw in a lot of clues to show that he was not, in fact, a world famous Auror (except in his imagination). This story came to me as a complete idea, and it won't be a long one. -N-

Another great story as usual. I love your ever expanding universe, and the fact that a great deal of your stories are entirely about side characters.

Author's Response: Thanks. I enjoy writing about Harry and Ginny, but sometimes it's nice to stretch out into the minor characters. I coult easily be persuaded to write a series of mysteries about the Muggle Interface Team. In fact I was! -N-

That's really lovely. What a splendid dad Harry is! And you made his two sons great and so believable! They are so compatible with what we know from them (epilogue, their family, etc.) .

I loved this, but I wonder if it is just another of your stories whose updates I'll be waiting for and then, instead of that , we get the beginning of another compelling story. BUt I can't complain. After all you are entertaining us and I'm really doing nothing in retribution. Cheers.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review. This story (unlike some of my others) exists in its entirety. It will only be three chapters: 1. The Visitors, 2. The Expedition, and 3. The Dragon. The two remaining chapters are drafted (though 3 is still rough). I don't dare start any more long chaptered fics. But this will be less than 10,000 words in total. -N-

As usual - great work! I was very excited to see that you had posted - I too am looking forward to an update on any and all of your stories. I am sorry to hear that you were in the hospital and hope that you are doing well.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review. I'm fit and well and working on five stories (I really should finish one before starting another). Next from me will probably be "Strangers" chapter 8: Clennel Edge. But it might be A&S 16 Christmas: Suspicion. -N-
