I just adored the mixture of humour you crafted through all the sex!! I couldn't help laughing at all the references to steps and chapters. Just goes to show you can learn what to do from a book although experience counts too...lol!

Liked how he alomst tried to talk himself out of his feeelings for Hinny. Can't remember the times I've fone that when I've met someone new, especially the 'why is she single' part of the one way conversation you hsve in your head.
As for the ending, well that was a bit steamy, like the refrence to the chapter heading.

This was such a fun chapter! I giggled my way through it, knowing how much pleasure both Harry and Ginny were getting from his memorizing so many books. However, my favorite part was their preamble to getting to the bedroom... all of five words! It wasn't quite as intense with me and my husband the first time, but I can truly relate to the aching need to disrobe now, as soon as I set eyes on him. It happened only once--after a two week separation during which I pined day and night for him--but I definitely can relate. I can see why this chapter has become one of your favorites. Well done. I'm now off to read the next chapter.
Author's Response: I must admit the books were a device to get round the problems I was having writing the chapter. Previous drafts came out either too explicit or too boring. My only worry was that Harry would start sounding a bit ‘Hermione-ish’ relying on books too much (not that he would have ever met Hermione at this point in the story) but the poor bloke had no-one else to ask for advice. Still, turned out alright in the end, didn’t it?

Nothing like some hot, spontaneous lovemaking to spice up a story. As for your concerns about being pure porn, let me assure you that the final draft didn't turn out that way! Really nice job! I've never published anything here because I've never thought I could fit within the "R" maximum, but this gives me some hope ... LOL! Good for both Ginny and Harry and hooray for love at first sight. While it took me a lot longer to get into my wife's knickers, I was pretty sure she was the one within three dates. It does happen! I can't wait to read more!
Author's Response: Trust me, my first drafts of this were total porn. I quickly realised that not only would they not get published they were likely to get me arrested under several indecency laws. It took me ages to think of a way to imply the action rather than describing it. I tried asking Mrs Brennus how many times we went out before we got ‘intimate’ but she couldn’t remember. Nice to know my efforts left such a big impression.

Lucky Ginny to be the one who gets stud Harry ( though he seems to be channeling Hermione love of studying
books) i suppose if someone did a negative kiss and tell you would want to up your game as it where.
Iam not usually a lover of Au stories. Especially superHarry, Very angst Harry where they have him deaf ,dumb, blind
or missing limbs.(hasnt he suffered enough for the love of god) but i'm really enjoying your story as its very realistic of British youth and humour.

Author's Response: I thought you would get the Kenny Everett reference, Crystaltips. One of my main goals in writing the story was to have Harry and Ginny act like a normal couple of British twenty something’s. My AU changes were mainly intended to set up an environment where our favourite couple were meeting for the first time rather than adding sole bonds, super powers etc. (although I’m itching to do a superHarry! story). I do have another (much shorter) story finished but it needs a bit of polishing. I’m having too much fun writing this stuff to stop!

Author's Response: I was so tempted to have a flashback scene to when Harry bought the books. I was going to have him in a Muggle shop discreetly selecting the books only to find a young girl on the checkout desk. As fun as that might have been I couldn’t get it quite right and didn’t really like putting a flashback in the story anyway. Maybe one day I’ll use it somewhere.

Author's Response: Funny you should say that. When I initially submitted this chapter it was rejected due to content. I then sought the administrators help in getting an idea of what I would have to cut but she validated it without any changes being required. Everyone has a different perception of things, I guess. I spent quite a while trying to figure out how to make any sexual content of this chapter implied rather than actual and I hope I managed to do that in a humorous way. Well, it made me laugh anyway.
