Title: Chapter 3 – The Wedding Paradox
Glad Ginny is not letting Molly takes over the planning of their wedding completely
Author's Response: I always imagined that would be an enterprise fraught with problems.

Title: Chapter 3 – The Wedding Paradox
Loved the wedding planning at the beginning of the chapter. I have known a few brides and their mothers who were that obsessive. Personally once my Scottish husband ordered his kilt and I found a suitable gown, I was happy to turn over the other details to our mothers. I am curious to see how Ginny reacts to her first motorcycle ride. My first ride on a Harley was honestly terrifying and lasted almost an hour. Clearly, by my comments, I am thoroughly enjoying this story.
Author's Response: I made a sword for my wedding!

Title: Chapter 3 – The Wedding Paradox
Great chapter! Loved the reappearance of the motorcycle! A pushbike? What is that? Loved the flying sequence. I think Arthur's explanation of the groom's responsibilities on the wedding day were fairly accurate. I remember joking with my husband that he just had to show up with his hair looking good and I was happy. I was able to do most of the planning on my own (thank God) which is good as my mother and I have completely opposite taste. If we ran into a disagreement I took the adult way out and looked at my dad and said, 'Please, Daddy' That is surprisingly effective in getting your way :)
Author's Response: Pushbike=bicycle. I’m pretty sure I flew that route over London one night after I staggered out of a Soho pub, but it might simply be that someone put something in my drink. I was totally involved in my wedding. Mind you, Mrs B and I did have a medieval wedding in the shadow of Salisbury Cathedral. Part of my responsibilities involved forging a sword and painting a load of shields. I bet not many people can say they had an archery competition at their wedding.

If I didn't know better I'd have thought Arthur was trying to get Harry running for the hills...lol!
The broom ride sounded fantastic. My horse is kinda lazy but when there's another horse behind her trying to overtake she goes mental and gallops like the wind! It's an amazing feeling..lol!
Me's thinking you're not fond of the Hammers!
Author's Response: I’ve got nothing against West Ham particularly; I generally reserve my hatred for Manchester United. Oh, and as a few of my mates are Southampton supporters by default I have to be anti-Portsmouth as well. I don’t think Arthur was trying to discourage Harry, just make him aware of the harsh realities of what he was facing. No point sugar-coating these things!

Also, d'you reckon Arthur gets sky sports? Or is he just getting rat arsed at the shed listening to farm noises?
Author's Response: If Arthur got a satellite dish he would end up taking it to pieces within ten minutes. I like to think of him sitting there with the wizarding wireless on, listening to the magical equivalent of ‘Gardeners Question Time’. And getting rat arsed to that. Nice.

Clearly, Harry supports the Hammers.
Author's Response: West Ham? Nah, can’t see myself. Maybe in honour of their 3-2 defeat of Man U at the weekend I should make a Spurs fan. He does live in North London now after all.

Poor Harry having to deal with that. At least Arthur managed to get him away from it all - for a while anyway.
Author's Response: I always wanted to use the idea that everyone thought that Arthur was fiddling about with Muggle appliances in his shed while he was really getting rat arsed on home-made wine. Let’s face it; those kids would be enough to drive anyone to drink.

Loved this latest contribution to your story.
The wedding talk was typical to most wedding preparations.
Loved the flight around London at the end.
Author's Response: Notice on the flight around London I didn’t send them too far east – much further and I would have got totally lost. The O2 is as far as I go in that direction. Trouble is, if I sent them west then it would have just been like in the film of OOtP. And I’m not going south of the river.

Title: Chapter 3 – The Wedding Paradox
I honestly never thought about why women ask their fiancées about wedding decisions when, as you said, the bride just wants *her* perfect wedding. You're totally right about the rational of tge bride being anxious that hes not going to flee/needing evidence that he is invested in the wedding and isn't going to bail.
This was hilarious and, as I expect from you, wonderfully in character. I cant wait to read more.
Author's Response: If I’d tried to run before my wedding I rather suspect Mrs Brennus would have come after me with the extremely sharp Celtic short sword she owns. As she is fairly short I can guess which area of my body she would have been aiming for. Besides, we had several kegs of Ringwood forty-niner ale laid on and I wasn’t going to miss that.

Well I think mr weasley taking Harry off to the side for a while is was a wise choice, and try and teach him the stuff James never got to, and showing Ginny what he has now makes sence....IT JUST DIDN'T COME UP.....kutgw
Author's Response: Mr Weasley has always been the voice of reason. Not getting in the middle of an argument between his wife and daughter just demonstrates his wisdom.

I turned up miles too soon for my wedding, so I had to go for a pint with the best man. Nice chapter.

Hmmm...wouldn't that beautiful garden be the perfect spot for a small, intimate wedding....
Good chapter. I always a good Molly / Ginny fight over something silly.
My wedding theory (I was too busy playing with trucks and dirt to play bride and still think he and I on the beach with a couple people is the best idea, but) is that too many girls dream of their wedding and when they can't have something, they get bitter, they hang on the idea and then force it on their own daughter, denying them what they want and, therefore, perpetuating the cycle. When I told my Gram this, she laughed hysterically and gave me examples!
Good for you on the Medieval wedding. How fun! But, I'm a history teacher, so, my idea of fun is a bit different.
Great chapter. Keep up the good work. Your desire to make sure the spelling and grammar are correct is admirable!
Author's Response: I fear the garden at Grimmauld Place would just be a bit too small. I based it on an actual house I saw on Rightmove.com and I think you would struggle to get half a dozen people in it. When Mrs Brennus and I were trying to decide where to get hitched we looked at lots of places and I ended up talking to a couple of wedding planners. They were without a doubt the most ridiculous people I have ever encountered in my life. Still, it pushed us to do something more DIY which turned out great.
Sadly, my desire to ensure my spelling and grammar is correct appears to outweigh my actual ability to do so!

Really enjoyed this chapter... Arthur def had the right idea to escape to the shed .
Author's Response: Every man should have a bolt-hole. I no longer own a shed but in my last house there was a fantastic one sited right at the bottom of the garden and hidden behind undergrowth. I never really thought of hiding booze down there, though. Probably just as well, I was a reluctant gardener at the best of times. Introduce alcohol and nothing would have got done.

Loved this chapter.and god forbid harry be an arsenal supporter. Your wedding sounds amazing btw. I officiated at a pagan medieval wedding and that was beautiful. Loving this story. A lot :)
Author's Response: In truth I haven’t decided who Harry’s footie team is. I’m a Liverpool supporter (my Mum was a scouser) but I figure Harry’s suffered enough. Originally, when I was going to site Grimmauld Place further west I was going to make him a Fulham fan (well, I wasn’t going to pick Chelsea, was I) but I suspect Harry would be disgusted by all the over-paid, moaning, night club-wrecking, drink-driving, foul-mouthed, marriage-cheating tosspots who play football these days and ignore the whole thing. I’m sure he’s more into cricket, anyway. Yes, my wedding was amazing. How many people get to take part in an archery contest on their wedding day?

I liked it. It was cute :) So if Harry isn't an Arsenal supporter, what team does he support? Manchester Utd?
