I don't believe that Ron and Hermione would be ready to be engaged so soon. I always thought that Harry and Ginny would get married first despite the fact that they are younger, age of course doesn't matter. I think they are more mature and in a more stable relationship than Ron and Hermione.

Author's Response: You may actually be right. Don't panic. Ron, just put money down on a ring. He is not a wealthy man and he is only planning ahead. Please keep reading. I appreciate reviews, so please don't be shy. Thank you so much for reading!!

It seems that life is not easy for Hermione. I can well imagine that she has told everything about Hogwarts and her friends at home, however, has left out the real adventures. Which teenager would confess the really interesting things at home? As far as I can remember, we haven't, lol.
The library at Potter Manor certainly is a welcome distraction for Hermione. I hope that her parents will come to their senses at some point.
The wedding at Potter Manor I see with mixed feelings. It is certainly a great thing. However, I fear that there are security problems if too many people know about Potter Manor.
Will Harry really move to Potter Manor? There must be a way to let Ginny move into the Manor too. At Harry's place I wouldn't move with Ron and Hermione only, and leave Ginny behind at the Burrow. Eventually Potter Manor should be much safer than the Burrow, right?
(OK, I fear that everybody will live at Potter Manor very soon. The problem would be solved that way, lol.)
Great chapter! Many thanks for sharing!

Author's Response: I wanted to create a little drama with Hermione, she always seems too steady, on top of everything, and nothing unpredictable or out of order in her life. Somehow it feels right to me to stir up her world just a bit.
Will "everyone" eventually live at the Manor? Hmm, that seems like a possibility left for time to unfold.
Thanks for reading and commenting.

I'm not sure how I feel about Harry moving into the Manor. I know he is of age, but it all seems so weird to me, and I'm really surprised everyone is accepting it so readily. It's starting to feel a bit Stepford Wives to me, like they are being guided by an unseen hand who may not have their best interests at heart. And now Bill and Fleur want to be married there?! Hermione's parents' reaction was very disappointing, but are we to believe that Hermione has never told them anything about Harry and Ron until now?

Author's Response: I can understand how the changes of Harry's circumstances can seem unsettling. There is more at work than we have yet discovered, but I wouldn't worry about anything regarding Harry's family, or inheritance being nefarious in nature.

Fluer's interest in being married at the Manor is really more personally motivated than anything else. She is much more aware of appearances and social status than has thus far been explored and the Manor presents the kind of appearance she craves.

As far as Hermione's parents go. I am certain Hermione has told them a lot about school, and has certainly mentioned Ron and Harry, but I believe she has allowed them to believe that her experiences at Hogwarts have been fairly "normal" for a boarding school.

Thank you so much for your insightful comments, and as always, happy reading!

Sweet. I can see the troubles between Hermione and her parents. The whole Ron engagement thing seems very rushed. They've been dancing around each other for years, but only dating for a few weeks and he's ready to marry her?

Author's Response: Yeah, it does seem kind of sudden I know. But, he just started payments on the ring, he hasn't asked her yet. Ron is a character that I have always felt I have a unique understanding of, he is the last of six brothers, with a younger sister... I am the last of four brothers, and two sisters. I know what it is like to be the youngest boy. One of the interesting characteristics of Ron, is that he always seems so unsure of himself, until he actually makes a decision. In most cases, once he has made his decision he forges ahead full speed to its result. He is doing that here. He knows what it is he wants. But, as I have pointed out he hasn't actually asked her, or told anyone yet, he just went and put a payment on a ring.

BTW, I read your story, and I must say that I have really enjoyed it, it is a very interesting take on so many of the characters, with well considered alternative actions. I will try to set you some reviews... I am so terrible about that, which I know is not fair, as I understand how wonderful getting reviews of your work is.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read and comment, is is so very appreciated!
