This was a fun read. However it just SCREAMS for a second chapter and a Doreen Green cameo! Come on Squirrel Girl meets Harry the squirrel would be awesome.

Author's Response: Have you been peeking at my notes? Yes, I've been a fan of Squirrel Girl for many years. NO PROMISES, but if there is a sequel, Doreen may be involved somehow.

This was certainly original. I always try to concentrate on perspective as I write my stories, and you've really demonstrated a flare for it with this one. There occasionally comes a story that would easily convert into a great video. This would be one of those. One point--you might find italics more effective for emphasis than bold lettering. I really enjoyed this piece. Thanks--Eric B.

Author's Response: Thanks. I'm glad you enjoyed the imagery. I imagined the action in my mind and then tried to type it out the way I saw it. It's gratifying to know that you think it would make a great video. I did change the bold to italics. Thanks for the heads up on that.

This is a terrific story. I really wish it had been entered into the Challenge. I would have voted for it for the People's Choice Award. Harry's brush with Petunia's broom and his ultimate escape was the best part of the story. Well done.

Author's Response: Thanks! That means a lot to me.

I enjoyed your story :) Too bad you couldn't finish it in time! I hope you will find the time to write more soon :)

Author's Response: Thanks! I have a lot of ideas and I'm slowly working on them. My current project is a soul bond fic with sci-fi leanings. It starts similar to the Bond Challenge, the takes a sharp left turn into the bizarre when an experiment on the border of science and magic goes haywire. It features a Dumbledore who THOUGHT he had seen it all until now and a shout out to one of Alan Rickman's OTHER roles.

Very cute! I loved him being a squirrel and being rescued by the kneazles was a great idea. Sweet scenes between Harry and Ginny - too bad it wasn't just a bit longer. I had to laugh at Ron the Master Strategist - he might be a great Chess player, but he doesn't seem to be able to transfer that to real life. :)

Author's Response: Thanks! I'm not up to much longer than this at this time. It is my plan to be able to work up to that eventually. I tried to leave it on a hopeful note. I stink at writing romantic stuff so I did what I could. I tried to emphasize Ginny's sense of humor - a lot of writers don't touch that for some reason. It is very similar to my wife's sense of humor so I can write that pretty well. In fact, my in-laws are a lot like the Weasleys in that regard... for them, teasing is a sign of affection. If someone isn't teasing, then they're either sick or angry.
