Having both Dobby and Winky as Harry's house elves is a great idea. This story has been sad and upsetting, but it is wonderfully written. Ginny and Kingsley have truly been there for Harry and the way that Minerva and Pomfrey have helped with the practicalities is excellent. I am glad that Tonks and Remus know how much they have let Harry down. I hope that Hermione and Ron are supportive with the information they have been given.

Author's Response: I thought the elves would be a great help for him. Ginny and Kingsley are great for Harry. Remus and Tonks are often portrayed as huge supporters of Harry, but I don't think it would take much to make them indifferent towards his suffering. Remus was never really there for Harry.

I feel an little sorry for Tonks, but she made a choice and now she have to live with it. He angry with Harry was more important to her, then keeping him safe

Author's Response: I felt a little bad for making Tonks the bad guy, but I can see her being more concerned about Remus and less about Harry.

I think he has coped fantastically with not only looking after the baby but dealing with all the related emotions.
I'm sure mrs Weasley will welcome being a surrogate granny...

Author's Response: I think he is coping very well - with Ginny's help of course. I think Mrs Weasley would be thrilled to have a surrogate grandchild.

The way Ron treats Harry, I don't see how Harry can forgive him so easily! (and not just in your story, it seems a lot of authors write Harry forgiving Ron too easily)

Author's Response: Thanks for the review. I agree Harry does forgive him too easily, but I can't really see Harry holding a grudge.

Kingsley completely rocks. I think he was a vastly under-utiized character in canon and like to read stories in which the author can appreciate that, and how well he could help Harry, if only he knew Harry needded him.

I also think that Tonks is going to get off way too easily, but Harry wouldn't want her harmed, much less while she was pregnant. Ironic that she'll owe her life to a person she blamed for her cousin's death & didn't properly protect. I say owe her life because you just know Ginny will want a piece of her. *evil grin*

I hope Ron keeps his head out of his backside and Hermione learns to stfu. I always thought Hermione needed a major b!tch slap, for being such a sanctimonious, self-righteous, stuck-up little snot.

Author's Response: Thank you so much!! I really like Kingsley, I totally see him as a great mentor for Harry. I think Tonks is getting off a bit easily, but I imagined her being besieged by WWW products once she had Teddy. I can just see her turning into Canarys or whatever the twins devious little minds think up. Ron wises up a bit earlier than Ron. Hermione - I had to laugh - I completely agree. I hope you will like their confrontation (Harry and Hermione) in the next chapter :) You forgot humourless in your description. It cracks me up when people pair her with one of the twins. What on Earth would they want with a humourless, self-righteous, sanctimonious witch? I don't get it. Of course I've never really seen the logic in pairing a lazy, slacker and the 'brightest witch of her age' although people always forget the 'her age' part and try to make her the smartest witch ever. Urgh - okay sorry for the little rant :)

aahhh, WOW?! No idea why these two chapters have me speechless. Really great story with no character OOC. My only complaint is that the story feels rushed. There seems so much more going on that I would like to read about.

Thanks for sharing.

Author's Response: Thanks! I'm glad you liked it. It is a bit rushed, but that's actually one of the reasons I wrote my own version. In the original story, it jumped from one summer to the next with nothing in between. I wanted to show them developing their relationship so it would have a bit of history behind it to handle the revelations of the baby. Glad you like it.

I think Tonks deserves a lot more punishment than she has received. Because of her negligence Harry was abused and is now saddled with a baby he didn't want. It's very noble of him to decide to raise the baby, and while I think that is something he would do, I'm still having a hard time with this entire scenario. Ginny and Harry are SO mature and level-headed, and I'm just not buying it. While, I understand you are making a different point with this story, about them having 'faith' that everything is going to work out wonderfully, I think a deeper discussion is needed, and a bit more teen angst over this huge responsibility on top of an already huge responsibility Harry faces. I will say you certainly do like to torture him, and love to rain angst down on his head!

Author's Response: Thank for the review. I think Tonks would have felt very badly, but it seems to me in the wizarding world there isn't a lot of punishment going on. I can see your point and I'm not saying it wouldn't be rough, but I really think because of his background he would embrace his child. Besides, teens are often very certain that they can conquer any problems that come their way. Harry wants to be there for Faith and Ginny wants to be there for Harry.

On the reread one thing that really stands out is how much Kingsley is doing for Harry, I especially like the implication that he consulted Dobby about the protections on Harry's new house even before finding out about Faith.

I also like the way you've ended both this chapter and the previous chapter with the discovery that Harry has a daughter.

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I think Kingsley makes a great mentor for Harry! I think once he found out about Dobby, he would ask for his help in protecting Harry. I glad you like the discovery of Faith. One more chapter to go!
