In this constitution, Hermione is able to stab a silver dagger in Harry's chest to get her proof. She's something of scary in her researching urge. After all, she has confused Ginny and put the friendship between her and Harry to the test. What need to happen so that Harry trusts Ginny enough to reveal his secret?
Oh, I almost forgot: Many thank you for the reading pleasure.

Author's Response: No, Hermione isn't very nice in this story at first. She has an overwhelming compulsion to be right. That lessens as time goes on. It won't be much longer before Ginny discovers things on her own. I'm glad you're enjoying the story.

Hermione is really nasty. That was almost evil the lengths she went to prove her point and be right. I really don't like her. I do have to say, I like Harry doing well in school and giving her a run for the money. I was actually surprised that he wasn't more advanced, given he'd grown up with Remus. My heart bleeds for Harry. At least Remus is listening to him now and not just brushing him off. I wonder if it is really fair for him to be on the Quidditch team - I would guess being a werewolf gives him faster reflexes and keener vision - sort of an unfair advantage.

Author's Response: Yes, Hermione was an insufferable know-it-all. She'll come around. I always pictured Remus being advanced in Defense and maybe one or two other subjects and those are the ones Harry is more advanced in. In my story, Harry inherited Lily's proficiency at Potions. As for the faster reflexes and keener vision, I tried to address that early in the first chapter. Being a werewolf DOES have its advantages but those were strength and hearing (for Harry). If he had keener vision, he wouldn't need his glasses.

Very sad to have their friendship suffer like that.
It needed to come out, though. They need to put this behind them and go forward.

Author's Response: every friendship has its ups and downs. this happens to be one of the downs. don't worry. next chapter Ginny will be learning what Harry's been hiding.

Knew this was coming. She should have hexed him, but then he would be even more thick git. Can wait for more.

Thanks for sharing.

Author's Response: Ginny will learn the truth in the next chapter.

Hermione comes across as a bit of a bitch - hopefully one day she'll learn not to stomp all over people in her quest to know everything. It's a shame Harry hasn't confided in Ginny, but I suppose he doesn't know that a true friend would stick by him whatever. Maybe he'll change his mind and give her a chance, especially as he knows that at least two other people know his secret, so it's almost certain to come out before long. I hope so.

Author's Response: yes, she does but that will change. Harry, too, will learn in the next chapter what it means to be a true friend.

sorry to say this but I hate this Hermione...in this story she is really an insuffarable know-it-all...and thanks to her now Ginny and Harry are on separate ways...what would it take for her just to shut her mouth?

well now that this is out of me...it's a really great story and most importantly an unique story :) can't wait to read more

keep up the good work

Author's Response: Good! You're not supposed to like this Hermione. Not yet, anyway. I'm glad you're really enjoying it.

I think it was necessary. I can't help but feeling irritated with Hermione ( with the character, not you I mean ) trying to frame Harry like that. ( I don't know if '' frame '' is the right word here, English isn't my native langage, sorry :p ) Brilliant story so far, I really like it! Thanks for sharing

Author's Response: wow. you're doing well for not being a native speaker. You're not supposed to like Hermione much right now. Don't worry, though. She'll relax and realize exactly what it is she's done and how she's acted. Thank you for your kind words. Glad you're liking the story.

Well now Harry has really stepped in to it and Ginny was right to throw it back to him but something tells me Remus si going to put his foot down and tell Ginny and Harry to sit and talk it out....and hermione is now going to be getting a new idea ofwhat it's like to piss Harry and Remus off and then Ginny as well...kutgw

Author's Response: Remus is going to step in. You'll see in the next chapter.

Oh geebis?! Just talk to her man!!!! This is just insane now?!

Author's Response: Do you really expect it to be that easy for Harry? Considering all the betrayals he's dealt with from supposed friends? I'm not saying he's right for acting this way, just that it's understandable.

I suppose the best defense is a good offence, but at this point in time, I don't think Harry's approach to dealing with Hermione and especially Ginny is going to work. It seems to me that he's not listening to what Ginny's really saying, only hearing what he wants to hear, i.e. the rejection in Ginny's tone rather than curiosity leaning towards acceptance and indignation at being ignored. It seems to me that at the moment, Harry would rather cut off his nose to spite his face rather than take the risk and give Ginny the answers she's politely asked for. Well done.

Author's Response: You're right. He didn't hear what was there. He heard what he's heard before. He's had no experience with outside acceptance so when he heard Ginny, rejection was what he expected to hear and therefore, DID hear. Did that make sense? And can you blame Harry for his actions? His reaction was basically a knee-jerk reaction.

well that was some end that you got there

Author's Response: yes, I'm bad, I know. It won't stay that way long.

Harsh. But necessary, I think.

Author's Response: Very necessary. I'm glad you agree.

The text in the last part of the chapter is center and thus kind of hard to read...

Author's Response: yes, I know and I apologized for it and explained things in my author note. does anyone read those anymore? It's not a case of a missing centering tag either. I have a message in to the person who fixed my last chapter because of a formatting bug in their system so hopefully it'll be fixed soon.

A 1947 silver dollar is actually 90% silver, 10% copper. Minor thing, but there it is.

Also I would think he would noticed it was silver, it is fairly obvious. Especially since Hermione had the subtly of a Mack Truck there.

Also how can he avoid her for a week when they are both on the Quidditch team?

Author's Response: The coin that Hermione had was a Silver Eagle which is 99.9 percent pure silver. Perhaps I didn't make that clear enough. A lot of things are silver without having any actual silver in them. Since Harry isn't familiar with American coins, he wouldn't know whether it was silver or not. As I said in the chapter, he was curious about it and wanted to see it despite the source. They're on the team, yes, but practice hasn't started yet so it would be fairly easy to avoid her. Besides, that, Ginny wouldn't want to confront Harry in front of her brothers and the others. Despite being angry with him, she wouldn't want to embarrass him in such a way.

Author's Response: If you'll read the chapter again Hermione says the depiction of Lady Liberty on her coin is taken FROM the Liberty Walking Half Dollar so she's NOT talking about a 1947 silver dollar. I had thought that information would have been sufficient not to be confused with the Liberty Walking Half Dollar but maybe I should make it more clear.

Oh poor Harry! I feel so sad for him.

Author's Response: Yes, things are bad now but next chapter they get better. I promise.
