Hmmmmm. I'm not sure I buy Ginny's reaction. Does she not like Harry like that anymore?

So, it was, obviously, Ginny's name that was in the smoke....But why is she upset about this? Harry is, supposed, to be a good friend. Doesn't she have any feelings for him?
Author's Response: That's complicated. Over the years, Ginny has been trying very hard to convince herself that she's just a friend to Harry, she's been trying very hard to get over her crush on him. And her being his soul match is a shock to her. Harry hasn't ever shown feelings for her other than friendly brotherly stuff. The story is set just as he's starting to fancy her, and so he's trying to feel brotherly. So to answer your question, yes, she has feelings for him, but she's trying to not have them.
