I've been enjoying this story up to this chapter. Those long, long, bare-your-soul, heart-to-heart "confessions" may be what you'd like to hear from someone you have a crush on, but real people don't actually speak to each other like this, Particularly not teenagers with no more experience of life and relationships than anyone could possibly have in less than 20 --or even 40 of 60-- years. I applaud H/G getting together, but the extreme unreality of this dialogue was very distracting.
I don't mean to be hurtful, but --IMHO-- this chapter did not rise to your usual standard, and I felt that you would want to know why.
Author's Response: Thanks for your comments, and, I agree, that teenagers don't talk like that. I will try to remember that in the future when I want to write a prolonged, eloquent soliloquy.

Kudos for Ginny having the courage to follow her heart. To break up with Dean honestly and immediately, and then to share her thoughts and feelings with Brook. I'm so glad they've sorted it all out. Dean and Padma?!? That's a new one, not one I'd ever imagine. Very interesting.
Author's Response: Dean and Parvati seems to be the most common pairing in fanfiction, but I thought I would change it up a little.

beautiful resolution. you had me wondering what game Ginny was playing with Dean there for a minute. Glad to see Harry and Ginny finally together without being hurt (i have to keep reminding myself i actually like dean). And... i see a soul bond forming... yippee!!!

Great to see the two of them finally together. I'm glad you didn't drag out Brook's guilt too long, though! The confession when they finally got to it was very nice. It sounds like something magical is happening between the two of them right at the end of the chapter. I look forward to the two of them talking about Brook's dreams (and Ginny's, too?).
