Duh, silly me, I just realized that I left a review for the wrong chapter, I meant to leave one for Chapter 1, not 2! So yeah, I loved chapter 2 as well and I think the explanation about Veritaserum being a bit like the Imperio is quite good and believable.
Good thing Bill and Fleur are in on the plan, though I thought Bill would have given more of a fight to believe Ginny at first.

Strike up the band! The master of stupendous spiels has returned with more literary brilliance!! [Notice no foreign languages this time - I'm just not the type to rub it in ;) ]! This was indeed a wordy chapter but plenty of fun! Nice to see Dumbledork get humbled -- yet again! After seeing the way she finagled Bill, I swear Ginny could convince the Eskimos that their igloos needed air conditioning. I don't know about Karma but with Harry's current lucky streak he outta be in Vegas! BTW, if you do end up having to streak the Cathedral again, I bet we could make some nice pocket pounds with advanced ticket sales and or making book on whether the Bishop nails you before you make it through the place! Current odds are 2 to 1! ! :):):):):):):)
Author's Response: Okay, I'm really concerned about the bit that talks about the Bishop of Salisbury 'nailing' me. That's got connotations that I really, really don't want to think about!

Author's Response: I think I can get away with this sort of thing as long as it only goes on for a chapter or two, otherwise readers will start getting bored. Besides, I'm a man of action (he says, sitting typing at his keyboard).

A rather talky chapter, as you said, but still very good. Harry and Ginny's interactions are always fun, and Sirius reactions to their secrets were great. It was good to see Bill and Fleur be inducted into their little group, too. I always liked them. Can't wait to see what happens next.
Author's Response: Yes, I really wanted to break up all the dialog, but when I tried changing it around a bit I found it just didn't flow right. I figured I might as well just embrace it and just title the chapter so people know what to expect. I rather like Bill, too and including Fleur means I get to write loads of silly French dialogue. Zut alors!

Hi there! I'm so happy you posted part 3 of TR, I got really hooked on it. And I just loved the first two chapters and want to know, how Harry managed to fight the Veritaserum. Good thing Ginny finally told her parents how crappy Ron behaved, I hope that he turns up again soon, but don't let im off too lightly, he still needs a good Molly-screaming!
Author's Response: Glad you're enjoying it so far. I figured that as Harry has resistance to the Imperius Curse he might well be able to shake off the effects of Veritaserum, too. It's all in the mind, you know. Don't expect Ron to pop up anytime soon. He's in a place I'm pretty sure no one would ever guess and has his hands full right now.
