Author's Response: It was just a bit of jealousy at Fleur hogging the attention of her favourite brother. Ginny is still quite young here, remember, and she does have the odd moment of immaturity. Plus Fleur can come over as a bit arrogant. However, they will be getting along just fine from this point.

Why do you have to torment Sirius? It seems most of your stories you either kill him off or you torture him - that is not nice!!! I'm still waiting for the chapter telling me that Sirius has fully recovered.

It is too bad that the Mind Rape curse didn't work out the way they wanted. It is just another hurdle to jump, though.

Author's Response: I'm glad that scene with Fleur went down well. I've often wondered what a Veela on full blast could do, and that was my version of it. You understand why Bill made her promise to never use it on him normally. I can't say what happens to Sirius yet, but I did have a good reason for sticking him in that coma, other than I'm extremely evil, of course. That's a given.

Oh you sir! You got me good. I was so not expecting that cliffie! I actually gasped out loud. Poor Fleur, such awesome powers and she's promised never to use them. I think Bill should have said "you promised never to do that outside the bedroom!" ;)

Strike up the band!! The professor of prolific prose has returned with yet another bout of literary brilliance!! (BTW, I have to mention that Chapter 4 with Eva, whipped cream and jam down her top strangely made me think of the 1928 classic song, "Big Top Candy Mountain")! I agree with Sirius about golf - it is a stupid game yet I still insist on pursuing that little ball around the course regularly, hoping my game at least vaguely resembles golf! ;) Bonking? Now there's an interesting term for it if I ever heard one! Well this was certainly an "explosive" chapter! And what a great cliffy at the end! Can't wait for the next one! (Hate to hear about the cold there mate! Here in the southwestern USA I had to endure 84 degrees fahrenheit today -- time to break out the ol sunscreen)! :):):):):):):):):):)
Author's Response: Arnel has pointed out to me that the song is in fact called 'Big ROCK Candy Mountain' (unless this happens to be another 1928 song with a strangely similar title). Personally, I suspect that whoever wrote it must have been smoking something strange, but there you are. 'Bonking' is an established British term for the wondrous and beautiful act of union between a man and woman, because we like to mock everything. I suspect out bitterness is, indeed, due to the weather (he types, looking out the window at the rain and wind). Sigh.

With your authors note I was expecting something terrible to happen every minute! First in thought Eva was going to be killed, then thought Sirius was going to die. Next I thought Bill was going to be cursed (cool use of Fleur's Veela charm BTW!) and now you leave us with a cliff hanger about Sirius again! Now be waiting desperately for your next update to see if Sirius is going to be okay.
Author's Response: Nice to see I wracked up the tension, anyway. The Veela charm seems to have gone down well with most people, which I'm glad about. As long as Fleur doesn't overdo it in the future. Hitting Bill with the full charm just because she wants him to nip out to the shops to buy a couple of bottle of white wine and a bag of cheesy wotsits isn't going to go down well.

I don't think I've ever read a story in which Fleur pulls her Veela charm and women get affected! Please let Sirius come out of the coma soon, maybe Eva can talk to him via Legilimency or something. I just have a feeling that there's more to the coma that you let on, like Voledmort somehow controlling Sirius because of the magical explosion, because it set another part of Voldy free.
Author's Response: At least I didn't have Ginny starting to fancy Fleur! You're right about there being more to the coma then I let on, but only in the sense that I had to do it to avoid painting myself into a massive plot-hole. It's always the bloody Horcruxes that confuse these stories: I hate them!

Author's Response: That was an idea I had ages ago and I've been waiting for the right moment to drop it into a story. Never throw anything away, that's my motto.
