So few clues but not really.. Slughorn sounds like the best bet to tell them potential potion maker ,but then it could be somebody who did not graduate from Hogwarts. You would think that ministry would keep track of all of the Master Potioneers, since they would be involved in making potions for St.Mungo etc. The other source of info could be records in St. Mungo potion lab, i presume they have one?
Author's Response: Slughorn would be good for sure. They do have the records of who is a master potion maker, but those people are not likely culprits and with no proof they can't really arrest them.

Author's Response: Yeah, I probably wouldn't read it in public. I'd love to say it won't be hard to read, but if I do then I didn't manage what I set out to do so it's a catch-22

Hmmm, so something appears fishy with Isabella Goyle. A school dropout, could she have become a potions Master on her own? In the interview, she certainly appeared to be the intelligent one.

Good chapter, as always; your spell-checking and britpicking has improved much since chapter one.
As for he next chapter, I'm curious: Who even reads the story if they hate what you write? Hell, my wife would brain me with my laptop if I forced her to beta a story she does not want to read. Seriously, ignore them. Other people kill a character just because they can; you are doing it for drama, at least.

Author's Response: I'm glad the grammar etc has improved. It's definitely a weak spot for me but I'm working on it.
I'm not so much doing it for drama, as for therapy, but I get what you're saying. Previous readers of mine might have gotten in and then bailed. This is different from what I've done before.

Well, I enjoyed this chapter. I think they need to think about women who may have lost their child or baby during the war. Someone wants him and Ginny to feel the love you have for your child and than the loss. It'd have to be a vey bitter and crazy woman. It could be as simple as a woman who lost a baby due to stress. Maybe her Death Eater husband got arrested like Malfoy did and she just lost her baby. Crazy people will find away to blame others for their losses.
Anyway I hope they get some leads soon. Has anyone even asked Ginny if she remembers what the woman looks like, or asked to see the memory?
Author's Response: That's an excellent theory on the bad. They asked Ginny in the beginning, the first chapter, but she was really sick. All she saw was the outline of what she thinks was a woman. After that they haven't pushed her or asked her more because her health is too fragile.

Oh, what a lovely chapter. I love this story, as I have said many a time. Even though it is a heartbreaking situation it is true to life, so I understand why (especially with your own personal experiences) this difficult topic is of interest to write for Harry and Ginny. I await your next chapter with anticipation, even if it will be horriblely difficult chapter for our otp. I'm sure the next chapter will be beautifully written, though full of sorrow and other such feelings with what we know will happen. Good luck with your original story!

Interesting chapter. There is a lot of clues, but not many solid leads. These women have to be involved somehow.
I don't think I could read that book if I was Harry, either.

Thanks for the warning. I'm still going to read the next chapter, but at least I know what it is. That makes this one very bittersweet. This whole conspiracy seems very confusing - so many clues that lead off in so many directions.

Yeah, some good information on the bad guy in this chapter. But it's still not really anything.
