I'm glad that Harry's voluntarily holding back a bit in the investigation. Obviously, he has developed some respect for the skills of his team mates over the last week.
Well, okay, it couldn't last the whole chapter, could it? I liked the way Ginny ended Harry’s fun with Rockwood.

Harry and Ginny do work well together. I certainly hope more comes from those kisses than just a friendship. It's very good that Harry is as accomplished a dueler as Ginny is and that she could take a few seconds to admire his ability. Thank goodness this story seems to have ended well. Well done.

Another great chapter.
Ginny shows herself as a most capable Auror a couple of times in this chapter by the way she 'scares' or intimidates the information out of Malfoy. Also, the way she cut short Harry's bit of fun at the end.
Looking forward to the epilogue.

Author's Response: Thanks! Hmm, let's say that they were all waiting as backup if they were needed, but they couldn't storm the place. That is why Ginny and Harry needed to approach carefully in the first place. So the rest of the Aurors came in after the end of the chapter to clean everything up.

Splendid! Let me jot down a few quick notes now, and perhaps follow up later with more musings via the distinctly evil pm-tool.
As a lover of the artful pun, let me commend you on two great little double entendres. First, and most obviously, I went almost all the way through the story assuming that the 'double' motif was simply the killer's penchant for duplicating Harry, but in fact Rookwood/Rookwood makes this a double-double. Then secondly, your very last line is a brilliant little DE. And shame on you for putting an end to our fun! ;)
The haste with which Malfoy unravels is a bit of a crime story cliche (the old capitulate/recapitulate sequence). But although I needled you earlier for a cliche, I'm not going to do so here. It's obvious that you were writing that interaction for genre-fidelity, and you did it well, so full points!

I definitely agree that there is rush in Malfoy's information reveal, but I didn't really want to drag out the story or confuse everyone by withholding a part of the explanation. So let's just say that Ginny really is that scary when angry and Malfoy couldn't help but tell everything.

Good chapter. I'm a hopeless romantic at heart, so i doubt there is an epilogue out there that will be too cheesy or clichéd for me to read. I've really enjoyed reading your story over the past few weeks. So thank you for all of your hard work!

You must be a "Castle" fan, as that show had a similar episode. By putting the idea into the Harry Potter Universe, you are able to bring new aspects to the story.
I am thoroughly enjoying this story, and look forward to the next update!

Yes, this entire story is inspired by Castle, you can find many instances where there are direct situations and some lines lifted (no infringement intended) from some episodes and all the characters have counterparts in the other universe.
