You've mentioned Daphne through description of her blonde hair (blonde for females) or by being with Tracey, so i wonder if she's on the horizon, especially since she faked her way out of the contract with Malfoy. Author's Response: Harry definitely asked Tracey and Ginevra too soon, but the Harry in this story will make mistakes all the way through. While this version of him might be very powerful and an excellent fighter, he most certainly won't be all-knowing and god-like. Getting a bit obsessed with Daphne, aren't you?

For the record, I have no doubt whatsoever that Draco will attempt some type of foolish vengence against Harry! I also have no doubt whatsoever that the chances of it succeeding are about as good as Crabbe and Goyle passing a Mensa entry exam! (Historical note: I myself passed that exam 23 years ago but I didn't join - too boring)! Loved the escape scene with Sirius! And I about fell out of my chair laughing at the McGonagall scene! You're still pushing that X rating, aren't you? I'd be willing to bet a few galleons those brown eyes belong to a certain fiesty, red-headed witch! This might just be one of your best, O great one! Author's Response: X-rating? Me? Actually, I do have a few scenes coming up in later chapters that I suspect I'm going to have to heavily edit for this site... or maybe just omit completely (which will be challenging because one of them is essential to the plot). Personally, I always thought Crabbe was holding Goyle back, but as Goyle didn't want to ruin the 'special relationship' between them, he deliberately flunked his exams. Look out for the sensitive, caring love scene between the two in the next chapter. Possibly.

Oh, I can just see McGonagall's wheels turning now. I can see why she is cautious and not quite trusting Harry, but I have full faith in her, that she will want to hear all sides of the story and take Dumbledore to task about it (at least I hope she will in your story...she's one of my favorite characters).
I am just surprised that Albus hasn't investigated the situation yet. A, I think Snape will want to bring his complaints to him, and B, if Dumbledore is so distrustful of Harry, here would be another good chance to check Harry out a bit more. But maybe that's the next chapter? :)

Author's Response: McGonagall's one of your favourite characters? I'd never have guessed ;-) Dumbledore will be getting more involved as we go on, at present he's just letting his staff check out Harry at the moment.

kind of funny....I had just asked you to put Ron on the better side for a change, and you responded by making all the Weasleys evil and bastards. and to think of McGonagall and Harry pussy conversation...seriously??? Well let just say that if I was not totally intrigued by the story and desperate to find what happen next....I would leave a very long dirty review...thankfully your brilliance in writing saved you from it.....Looking forward to your next update despite some unpleasantries.

A very funny and very serious chapter. You, Mr Brennus are a very clever man. Had me laughing with the pussy references and feeling very sad for Ginevra's isolation from her family and Harry's loneliness. You and your model arse are just too good.

Author's Response: You wouldn't believe the complicated arrangement of mirrors I had to set up just so I could see my own backside to describe it accurately. All because Mrs Brennus refused to take a photo of it, too...

So i presume that Ginny was the one who saw him transforming, i am surprised he did not smell her in his animal form:) I wonder if one of the reasons for her support would be gaining additional knowledge? Still, she has another year to go and will be by herself so potentially she risks more than anybody if she helps him. I can’t imagine that she is the great supported of the light side since they have been pretty horrible to her, from her family to teachers. I think she could be more than just want power and hopefully Harry will recognise it with time.
Also Harry can use Mata Hari type person in Hogwarts but i doubt that either Tracy or Ginny will fill that particular role. Any candidates?:)
P.S. interaction with Minerva was priceless but did he have to get her irritated so much?


Author's Response: Let's just say, whoever it was watching Harry *cough* she (oops, shouldn't have said that) was quite a long distance away, but had a special means of tracking him. Ginny (and Tracey) are really both just on their own side, and have no real motivation to get involved with the fight on either side. Of course, as Harry pointed out, neutrality might not be an option for them. p.s. yes.
