Let me get this straight... Ginny needed comforting either before the battle or after it and is now paying the consequences for her actions with a boyfriend who has suddenly disappeared. Makes me wonder if her brothers had anything to do with his disappearance...

I like the alternating stories of these two realities. These writings help give a perspective to RHS that is quite helpful.
Am sensing how you create a whole layer of perspective in RHS that it wouldn't otherwise have with the insertion of Sophie. Because of her age, she brings such a potent degree of innocence to the story that it helps counterbalance the grief, anger, guilt, blame, regrets, fear, and/or feelings of betrayal that the events have generated.

Author's Response: I think if I hadn't attempted to write those two realities/tales, I would have driven myself crazy and I hoped that it would give that background and perspective of how H/G and RHS became who they are.
And I think (or I hope) that having Harry's background in particular in this story will show just how much Sophie has changed him. He'll go through so much to get to the point he is at the current spot in RHS--and he'll continue to develop even more!

It was nice seeing this from Ginny's point of view but there is so much more to this POV as her pregnancy progresses. Looking forward to the stages Ginny goes through without Harry's presence.
Author's Response: We will see so much more from this POV and it definitely won't be all sunshine and daisies--we're in for a rough--albeit--exciting ride!

So glad to see that you are back here at SIYE. I really like this chapter but have a lot of questions so I can't wait until you publish more. When you had Ginny point out that her father hadn't looked at her I was a bit frightened of his reaction.
