The only thing that would improve this story would be for all the telepathic passages to be properly italicized. That's the only thing I've found confusing.

You've done a nice job on the summary for the Quidditch World Cup. I like some of the changes you made so that the tale is told from Ginny's point of view; it's nice to get a new perspective on an event from one of my favorite books.
The shopping trip to Diagon Alley went quite well despite the fact that you called the clothing shop Ginny, Tonks, Hermione and Mrs. Evans went in a "store" and left in a "mom" in Tonks' speech to Ginny that should have been changed to "mum." While the dress Ginny and Tonks chose sounds wonderful, I'm not sure black is a good color for a thirteen-year-old girl...despite the fact that her school robes are that color. I also had to smile about Tonks needing to add a third pair of shoes to Ginny's purchases because they were under Sirius' minimum spending limit. Oh, to have such a budget! A girl can dream on!
I'm looking forward to your next chapter. Well done with this one.
Author's Response: Thanks for your review! I picked black because a) I myself wore mostly black dresses to formal occasions, mainly because I resented having to wear a dress in the first place and I thought it would make me look slightly sullen while I faked smiles and b) I figured Ginny's skin tone in combination with her hair and eyes would look best in dark, cool colors. Blue I thought would look too odd, then plenty of stories dress her in green which made me think it a touch overdone and that was as far as my mind went before coming to black. I didn't realize clothing emporiums were specifically called shops in England, but I'll keep that in mind and mom slipped through my fingers; I'll correct it. Thank you very much once again!

Loved this chapter.
The conversation between Harry and Ginny, when they were supposed to be asleep, was amusing. Harry calling Ginny 'darling' seems to be his way of 'sucking up' to her.
Looking forward to the next chapter.
