Love the Weasley family in this chapter!!! They are really trying to work through extraordinary events. The goblins are very interesting. I am enjoying their pragmatism!

Author's Response: Thanks. I have always seen the Weasleys as stoic and good people to have at your side in a crisis (usually). There will be more with the goblins later.

To resume last chapter's conversation, yes I definitely agree that the H&G characters are delightful, for a combination of their youthful innocence, lack of agenda, and intrinsic selflessness.

It is interesting that you have not designated any truly adversarial relationships, which I have to admit is very novel. Yes, Ron and the twins weren't very welcoming, but they burned no bridges, and are already coming around.

My semi-random musing for the morning is that although I can definitely see how this can shape up as a character drama, I am curious to see how it grows into its 'romance' label. The romance genre, with its mandatory obstacles and misunderstandings, has completely eluded me in my writing, and at least half of the stories on this site that fly away with bimonthly romance birdies are actually not very romantic. The soul bond offers an additional challenge because their successful relationship seems so inevitable.

Anyway, well written and enjoyable!

Author's Response: At this moment, I figure Harry and Ginny have enough to worry about dealing with the bond, and Molly, so I thought I'd cut them a break and not develop any adversarial relationships with other members of her family. The twins have always been supportive of Harry, from a distance, and Ron was his best friend in canon. They experienced some bumpy moments due to Ron's jealousy of Harry, but other than that he was usually quite supportive. As I was writing the beginning of this story, I didn't picture them holding any intense animosity towards Harry, and if anything pictured it developing into their usual teasing instead.

Romance does not play a part in this stage of the story. As you already pointed out, Harry and Ginny are too youthful for those types of feelings yet, aside from perhaps puppy love and silly crushes. We will have to see how the obstacles and misunderstandings will develop.

Thank you for taking the time to read, comment and for the stars!

Ah the kids are growing nicely but they are just that kids....Molly need to remember that is how it's going to be and sooner rather then later Ginny will leave and Molly will never t have a say about it....as for albus and adoyrak they are both playing with fire but no one is getting burn yet....kutgw

Author's Response: You are right that Molly needs to remember they are just kids, but mother's do have a tendency to worry. Hopefully she will get on board with things before she alienates Ginny. You may be right about Albus and Adoyrak, as well. Only time will tell. Thank you for taking the time to read and comment.

Loved this update.
They are slowly starting to understand little bits of the bond. I am glad Ginny's brothers are starting to accept the bond....well at least the twins are.
Looking forward to the next chapter.

Author's Response: Thank you, Carolyn! I'm glad you enjoyed this chapter. I really appreciate you as a loyal reader and reviewer. It means a lot. :)

Thankfully, Molly slowly is coming to terms with Harry. It seems that she begins to understand the consequences of the Bond. Altogether, I'm relieved that the Weasleys came along with Harry so quickly. Of course, there is still a long way to go.

I had to laugh about George's statement, that Harry is a real Gryffindor because he is brave enough to bond with his little sister.
Funny detail, how Ginny retains the first envelope referring to her as Mrs. Potter.

It’s kind of strange how Percy carries the prefects badge even at home. In this way, he explicitly begs to be pranked. I really hope that he will not pester Ginny and Harry in the future.

Harry and/or Albus should talk to Arthur and Molly before they send them money. I do not think they take it so well.

Many thanks for the very well done instalment!

Author's Response: Thank you, Gin. Harry has been through so much, and I always thought the Weasleys were fairly open-minded and loving, so I thought I'd give them all a break :) There will be plenty of other issues for Harry and Ginny to face later on. Percy doesn't seem to realize that his actions are the cause of all the pranks; he's so absorbed inside his own head at times. You may be right about the Weasleys not liking the stipend. We will have to see. I really appreciate you taking the time to read and review.
