Severus Snape is very interesting in this story. I like the fact that he is decent without being too kind. The visit to town was a nice change from the usual Harry Potter stories which include little to nothing of Muggle life and how wizard families interact with others.

Author's Response: I thought it would be interesting for Harry to experience something new, and Bonfire Night seemed like the perfect opportunity. As for Severus, we will definitely be seeing a different side to him. Thanks for the stars!

I miss Cornish pasties. I've only had one in the last 33 years, during a vacation to northern Michigan, where miners from Cornwall were imported to work the copper mines, and where I went to university. I'm sure if anyone in my family had one, they wouldn't understand the appeal, but the one I had five years ago really brought back memories.

I'm enjoying the story very much.

Author's Response: Thank you! I don't believe I have ever had a Cornish pasty, so I may have to go to north Michigan sometime, or even better, England! Thank you for commenting and the stars!

Even though the H/G bond story is fairly well trod in Potterverse, have to acknowledge what a fresh, excellent tale you're weaving in this framework.

It clearly deserves more reviews IMO.

Thank you

Author's Response: Thank you! I really appreciate that. It's nice to hear that it seems to be a fresh take on this well-trod verse. I hope it continues to be so!

While I fully expect you to throw lots of unforeseeable twists into this, I'm now quite confident that I have a lot better inkling of where you're heading with this, and most of my earlier questions seem to drifting towards interesting answers. A fine bit of writing so far!

Author's Response: Hmmm, I curious to know where you think I am headed! Thanks for continuing to read and comment!!

Good chapter.
I'm enjoying reading your story.
Looking forward to the next chapter.

Author's Response: Thanks, Carolyn! So glad you are enjoying the read. Thanks for the stars, too.

I still feel a little uneasy because of the potion. I hope that it has no side effects.
You describe Ginny and Harry's daily life very well, in particular how they discuss their joint bank account.
Occlumency is an interesting point. I wonder if they can support each other through their link ... or if they are able to shield their thoughts against each other. However, I hope that will not be necessary. On the other hand, it seems that Snape doesn't care much about teaching Harry Occlumency.
Can Molly really get used to the idea that Ginny and Harry are bonded? I am afraid that we will still experience an occasional relapse.

So far, I love your story. Many thanks for sharing!

Author's Response: I imagine it will take Snape some time to get used to the idea of teaching Harry. He wasn't very good in canon, but hopefully things will be different this time around. I suppose this work has become a study in their daily lives, for the time being, at least. I'm glad you can enjoy those moments. As for Molly, you may be correct in your assumptions. Thank you for taking the time to read and comment!

A start indeed. I can't help but dislike Molly Weasley though, a hot-headed, opinionated, interfering battle-ax she is.

Author's Response: Aw, poor Molly. She can be over-protective at times, but Ginny is her only daughter and the baby. That's two counts that cause Molly-coddaling - ;) Thanks for reading and commenting!

Great chapter. Snape really trying to help this time. Hope he can teach them. Molly started to soften a bit even though it's reluctantly. Looking forward to read more.

Author's Response: Snape tried to help in canon, in his own way, just not very well. Hopefully, with the different turn of events he will have an opportunity to exhibit a better side of himself. Only time will tell. Thank you for reading and commenting.

Well Molly is making a little progress in the Harry dept. But Harry has not helped any but no offense to Molly she really needs to get off her hi horse and move on...too say the twins......glad to see that they got out and enjoy some fun as well as see Luna and be normal....kutgw

Author's Response: Ha ha! The twins are out of sight, out of mind ;) Thank you for the encouragement - more to come soon.
