Great beginning! I like the banter between them. At one point Ginny thinks that one of her family dying is her 'worse fear' and I think you mean 'worst fear.'

The story has caught me right from the beginning.
Apparently, Ginny and Harry do not know each other. Presumably, Harry wasn't at Hogwarts. Actually, those "Harry was not at Hogwarts" stories are not my cup of tea, because the similarities between Ginny and Harry (to be possessed by Tom, the Chamber,...) and thus there understanding for each other always have fascinated me. On the other hand, that fact that they fought Ol’ Tom together, I also like very much.
The start of the story was so overwhelming, that my thoughts have turned in a circle when I tried to comprehend the possibilities. I needed half an hour to read for the first 2-3 pages as a whole.
The idea that the Dark Marks can have a toxic effect after Tom’s death was remarkable. At the end, I was a little surprised that Harry so quickly disappears.
What a great first chapter! I'm really impressed, especially by Ginny's self-confident appearance. 10 points to whatever house you belong!

Glad it was a joint effort to finish off Voldemort; I was a bit worried at first that super-Ginny was going to ride to the rescue of a weak Harry. I assume they haven't met before, which can make an interesting story.

Interesting start not sure if I am right but got the impression that Harry was not going to school maybe kept away and trained to be ready cannot wait for more

This is a bit of a different approach, nicely done. I don't recall seeing this precise premise before so I'll look forward even more than usual to any additional chapters.
