How sad, but wonderful that my guess was right and that Arthur got to spend time with them.
I had a deja vu moment when Molly was apologising to Harry and saying she understood if he was hesitant, and it reminded me of petunia. I feel like I'm being too hard on her....she was extremely selfish and some could say that's cruel treatment, but she didn't physically mistreat her daughter as such...still that's what it reminded me of.

I like that Arthur kept in touch with them. He died so young (for a wizard), very, very sad. Its sad that it took something so drastic for Molly to see what she'd done.

I'm very glad Arthur's "fishing trips" actually turned out to be visits with Harry and Ginny and their family. As sad as it is that Arthur is gone, that trunk and its contents are the chronicle he left his wife of their grandchildren growing up. Molly missed out on all of this and I'm glad it seems she's learned her lesson. It's good, too, that Harry's the sort of man who is so understanding and is willing to let his children know their grandmother despite the fact that she rejected him so many years ago. Well done.

Well Molly is lucky she has a shot to fix what she did but truth is Harry will never forget and in a heart beat it could be back to the old ways again.....kutgw

Oops, I thought the story would start through now. However, apparently it's already done. It was very foresighted, that you have inserted a tissue warning. It was not funny to sit weeping in a crowded train compartment getting strange looks from everybody around.
It's cruel that such a sad event is needed to bring the Weasley together again. I hope that the kids cause Molly to forget her pride and let her reunite the rest of her family. A big THANK YOU for another wonderful, impressive instalment.
Author's Response: When i started writng this story, i was always going to jump to years after they left. Then i conisdered writing a chapter ot two of Harry and Ginny's life, but then cut it back to just a small paragraph. Sorry i made you cry on the train!! I hated killing Arthur, but knew it had to be a major reason to bring Ginny back, and wanted to give Molly a chance to redeem herself. Just the epilogue to come. Thanks for all your reviews xx

A very emotional chapter. Such a shame it sometimes takes a tragedy to make people reevaluate their choices. Its nice that Molly finally reconciled with Harry and Ginny, but too bad it took her so long.
