That was a fun and well balanced chapter. Are you running out of insanity? :p I hope we'll see Sophie kick someone's surprised ass at some point ;-) And I'm not sure what you were referring to but I do like reading about Lila's side of the story every now and then.

Author's Response: "That was a fun and well balanced chapter. Are you running out of insanity?" Oh, I don't think there's any danger of that. "And I'm not sure what you were referring to but I do like reading about Lila's side of the story every now and then." Lila will be playing an integral part of the upcoming heist, so she'll be around.

I'm looking forward to learning more about Sophie.

Author's Response: Really? I've been surprised lately by how many people have left comments concerning her, as she's a relatively secondary character. If I may ask, what is it about her that interests you? What would you like to know about her?

Great chapter. The information Harry received is the kind of thing that all boys need to be taught by fathers, uncles, someone, etc. I am glad that Harry and Ginny are developing appropriately as far as their relationship is concerned. The results of weight lifting are often a bit painful, but worth the effort. I do hope that Sophie gets to enjoy some pleasant moments soon. Neville and Luna at Gringotts was awesome. They are great characters.

Author's Response: Thanks, glad you liked it. Harry and Ginny will have to take a backseat as we move into the heist-focused portion of the story, but they'll get their time again. I know all about weight lifting, having damaged myself on more than one occasion in the pursuit. Interesting wish on Sophie's behalf: did you feel she wasn't enjoying herself much this chapter? She was on a mission, after all.

Oh, thanks for the Harry/Ginny scene. Now I have this odd vignette running in my mind:
Ron - "Oy, Ginny! What are you giving Harry for Christmas?"
Ginny begins to blush and stutter, pauses a moment, then bat-bogeys Ron into the next decade.

That scene was an interesting follow-on to her telling Harry about the plan for his birthday gift. Less awkwardness and more promise for an achievable future. Scott being straight up with Harry in the sex-ed discussion is a different portrayal of his character. He is the mission commander and this shows during your action scenes, but there is more to being a leader than just battle directions. You also provided a very believable reason why Scott doesn't pull the trigger (so to speak) with Sophie. Fraternization can be corrosive to cohesion.

Author's Response: "Scott being straight up with Harry in the sex-ed discussion is a different portrayal of his character." It wasn't about him, or the shape, or the Kharadjai. All he had to do was teach Harry some basic anatomy in order to easily advance his integration and friendship a bit further. I doubt he would have been able to restrain himself for so long as a teen, but he's left that behind for most of Vis Insita. "You also provided a very believable reason why Scott doesn't pull the trigger (so to speak) with Sophie. Fraternization can be corrosive to cohesion. " Maybe. In the standard ranks, sure, but Scott and Sophie already care for each other a great deal and, lets be honest, frequently act in a manner that can't be passed off as platonic, no matter what they tell themselves. The Primarius allows a level of personal freedom because its operatives have earned it along with their distinction. So maybe Scott has a point, or maybe you do, or maybe they're both afraid to take the first step. Or maybe they're just content to become closer gradually.
